Hey all, I keep hearing asbout legendary vk's that have really low ham costs and do some good damage. I have been searching the galaxy for them for aboutone week now as I train in in TK, I am 4-4-4-3 but havent found a hint of them. I am currently following up a lead on talus but am starting to wonder if random mobs drop them or a certain kind of npc and if they even exist. Please give any advice you can.

here, this might be helpful..i've never heard anything about Legendary VK's, on the boards or in-game

Umm not gonna happen unless some change went in withe the last publish that the entire smuggler community is unaware of.

Hmm..I thought 45% is the best a master smuggler can do?
If not, I am sorry for that mis-information. Where is the limit? 35%? 40%?

45% is for encumbrance on armor and 35% is for weapons and effect slices. Many have claimed to have gotten better but the only one who ever proved it with a screen shot used a method that hasnt worked since like August.

im a smuggler from back in the day and 35% is the absolute highest slice on anything besides encumberence ive ever gotten

I dont know about legendary as I have never seen a " legendary vk ", but I do have a exceedingly low HAM vk with a health poson dot on them.

Legendary weapons are loot from certain Krayt Dragons as far as I know. I've seen a legendary Scout Blaster as well as a legendary Axe so far.

Take a look at the picture... you might get an idea what a legendary VK would look like. Weeeeee!!!! I want one! 
The chances that you get your hands on such a weapon are minimal though. I'd say it's easier to get 50 Holos along with 50 Crystals, but I might be wrong.

To get high-end VKs, you should hunt nighsisters on Dathomir, they drop very good VibroMotors sometimes. Also Nyms and Nym's Droidekas on Lok drop good vibro motors. Then let a master weaponsmith craft you a custom VK and hope your trustworthy master smuggler lands a 45% damage slice on that thing.
