I've never tried Rifleman, but it seems to be a popular choice. Doctor is useful since you can buff and heal yourself.

Rifleman, Doctor, CH, Smuggler, Commando, or Fencer are all the most popular combos.
Fencer gives you some additional defenses and a different damage type for when you need it(stun), Doctor lets you heal and buff yourself, Rifleman gives you some nice ranged defense and a ranged attack, likewise with smuggler in the ranged attack department, and commando lets you have some high damage options for when you really need it.

no, i think its "a coke and a smile, and...." ![]()
but seriously, doc would be a good choice, especially if youre new. its a great source of income, and will give you a crash course in the swg playerbase!

Hmm.. TKM / Master Ent / Master Musician / Novice Medic
Works for me
I knock em' down, dizzy em', then killthem with SW1 on aSlitherhorn. If that fails I drop a Nalargon on them.

Is it not worthwhile to dabble in carbineer if you aren't going to master it? *sorta like riflemen?*
I'm currenlty thinking of doing
MTK *so close*
Master Fencer
Novice Medic *I'm a master now*
and should have enough SP to do 2 tiers of an advanced profession. Picking up a ranged seems smart so you can still attack kiters and a ranged KD makes that much sweeter.

A nice Chianti and some Fava Beans....
At least that is what was told to me by a Wookie after I put duct tape on his neck and flicked some wound up rubber bands on his back....

Cant go wrong with Master Doctor....

Don't know if this will help but I'm going Combat Medic so I can heal friends while we're out in the field. Also FYI, I played a carbineer with another char and it was the most horrid experience of my life. I did no damage, my specials didn't work, and anything worth knocking down was tough enough to just get right back up. Oh yea, and every time I got into a fight I would be totally stressed out watching my HAM. So, I personally wouldn't recommend it.

I dunno, I hear the carbineer's charge shot 2 is going to be working soon. Apparently it will let you kd (and maybe dizzy, i'm not sure about that part) with an AoE attack. Could be pretty wicked with some tkm attacks serving as the cherry on top. You wouldn't even have to burst run.

Oh yeah, you get chargeshot2 at 0/0/0/4, which is all combat xp - a great addition for tkms with a lot of useless combat xp on their hands.
