Thread: Spam unarmed3

Okay. I just got Master Teras Kasi Artist, I was super hyped and worked my butt off the last few days to get it. First thing I do: go to Geno caves. I do fine at the entrance, totally whooping the Crazed Genosians, but then I notice I lose a lot of mind... quick.
BTW: I'm fully doc buffed and I have 2 412 brandy's in me and I powerboosted. Also wearing full comp armor and using a VK.
So I go into the caves a bit, find an enhanced kliknik, start spamming unarmed attack 3, my mind is gone in about 30 seconds. I notice the attack takes 50 mind from me every time. How am I supposed to kill things with unarmed 3 if it sucks my mind to nothingness in 30 seconds while I spam that attack? How do you guys do it? I even tried it with some canape and +mind bivoli, and I still couldn't spam it.
So, what the heck?
I need your help :-x

try no VK's, high quality brandy and canape, ease up on UAH3,you'll do fine.

IME, Combo 1 hits health predominatly, and compared to Body Hit 1 it costs less HAM. Now, this is only subjective, though I got the tip from these very boards, and tried it out, and it works for me. The critters I hit always die to health, never to action or mind hits.

i must have bad luck with it then, whenever i use it generally the damage gets spread pretty evenly
uh3 usually hits about 70%/25%/5% health/action/mind for me

As Is aid, could be just my imagination. But Unarmed 3 is too costly for me, since I hunt unbuffed. A couple of Spitting Rawls and I am so down on HAM that a light breeze incaps me. Unarmed Body Hit 1 is not that much better IME.

get some 75-80% ubese armor... lower HAM costs... It works great for me!

What are your mind stats at? Two brandies with just a 500 focus shouldnt cost you that much HAM. WHats the HAM cost on your VK's? ALSO look into Arisha its a food that bumps your focus 300 or better for 30 mins or better and it only has about a 40% filling AT WORST

The problem with using no vk's is that I believe the critters in the geo cave have an armor rating of 2, so without 'em you're only doing about 1/4 of your damage as opposed to 1/2 with 'em.

I can spam any special with doc buffs and 2 brandy and even have my CoB macro on and never touch my ham (using a VK).
The armor that I use is all encumbrance sliced, especally the helmet. If you have a high ham helmet it may be what is killing you on top of your other armor.
Power boosting does nothing to help your secondaries, it will just allow you to fire off a couple extra specials, you need high secondaries in order to spam specials for they protect your main ham bars.

Okay. So what I got out of this:
1. Buy ALL encumbrance armor(do you think I can trade mine for it?)
2. Buy a lot of Canape and Other +focus and willpower mod foods(Aren't they really expensive?)
3. If unarmed hit 3 costs so much after all that, don't use it.
Correct me if I'm wrong!

Oops... and get musician buffs!(That's just hard 'cause I normally hunt on yavin and...)
