Ok I am Have been, and mostly always been, a Trandoshan TKM, and quite honestly it urks me to see the amazing Helmet/Chesplate/Gloves/Boots Composite combo, Now I ask this here mainly because I feel a TKM should never fight Bare Handed/Clawed/Finned , and I also ask this because the wookies get gloves because their special but we Trandoshans and the like are in between normal and special??
I think this belongs on TKA boards as it deals with fists, and that fact most people I see wearing this combo are Infact TKA, If this is wrong place then please move it, and finally if you claim that patchnotes fixed that quote the notes and show me some proof

All PvPers who know anything have worn the "cheater suit" for about 6 months or more. It's not at all a TKA thing... just perhaps that many pvpers are TKM atm because they can actually stand against a Jedi without having to use million-credit equipment.
As for bare fists, claws, fins... I have no idea what you're trying to say...
Is the current system going to be fixed? yes, in the CU which seems like its going to screw up a whole lot of other stuff.

The CU is still pretty far away considering, and also, what I meant by Fins/Claws etc is that trandoshans are not the only ones who can't wear boots/gloves, I think moncalimari can't nor rodian, I think, I just thought it would be a someone easy project to simply add any gloves or boots for use neglected humanoids, I mean even just normal non armored gloves would be nice, can you imagine walking across all planets with no boots? I mean wookies are supposed to wear a badolier max , in continuity, but as everyone knows continuity is gone in SWG, so why are trandoshans still restriced to their continuity of not wearing boots?
Whenever I speak of trandoshan , I mean all of the restriced races who apparently are not important enough

Actually I think only trandoshans can't wear gloves or boots.

mon calamri have restriction on certain types of gloves (clothing and i think RIS gloves)but we can wear composite gloves, ubese gloves ect ect

i see no prob w/ it i perfer to look diffrent to everyone else if i could waer boots and gloves then i just look like a big ass human and thats no fun

I try my best to look differnt , but lets face it, I can't go grinding in my chestplate and infiltration suit even though it is differnt and what I love to wear hunting

I am not sure, but Ithorian would definately be limited on what they could wear.

you dont really need armor to grin i have a suit od be'ed clothes that allow me to grin completely unarmored so there are other options
but i do understand the always wearing comp armor 4 big game and how much of a pain it is especially when you take that leathal hit to the hands. you would think a society that revolves around war would be able to stand a broken finger nail

Yeah, in the CU with the advent of the "health bar only" the gloveless and bootless state will no longer be an issue the way I understand it.
Of course, not being to bright, I might be totally wrong.

but they got species-specific counterparts to Comp armor. Just like the furb..err...Wookies did
Where's MY race-specific armor/clothes....I mean c'mon, Trandoshan culture has revolved around combat....heck, thier primary goddess is a WAR goddess.....you'd think in all that time we could have at least found some way to make battle boots and gloves???
..............but then I remember the theme of the Expansion Pack................

Read the CU update. Gloves and Boots go bye-bye...
It will be a shorter wait for the update than it would be to start from fresh with some Trando glove/boot code...
