It's not necessary to wear armor at all. The basic rule is, the more armor the better protected you are because it's more likely an attack will be absorbed by armor. I've gone around in BP/Helmet/Legs only, and I've also gone around with bracers and biceps added, and I've seen a difference.

Since you only need to wear Gloves, Chest Plate, Boot's and Helm (as there are only 4 points on your body where you are hit, the other peices just spread the damage over all the peices hence if you have a broken peice of armour you take more damage even though the rest of your suit is in full nick.) But seeing as dosh cant wear Gloves or Boot's then You could wear Chest, Helm, Legs and Bracers/Biceps (both). Hope this answers your question.

But don't Trandoshan's can't wear boots or gloves. Irun around in full suit save the boots and gloves, and though my BP and helm take the brunt of the damage, mybracer and bicep pieces DO absorb a lot of hits.
I can't wait for the CU when theytake feet and hands out of the list of targets.

A recent patch changed this.

When buying composite, is it necessary for a Trandoshan to get the bracer & bicep pieces? How big are the holes that they cover?

Could you quote the patch notes that say that?

Trying to find them.
I know there was a discussion about it on this board, it was a couple of months ago.

Well if you have a few ADK's lying around. Get yourself a 90% base chestplate, and a good base PSG. Ever since I got a 90% base chestplate, I've never been hit in the hands or feet.

I know I'm going to sound stupid asking this but what's an ADK? I presume they're advanced armor segments of some sort?
