Thread: Armor overlapping corrected?

I have always been completely protected by my 80%kinetic armor when just wearing the helm, body, gloves, and boots. But the last day or so I have had animals on dant hitting me periodically for exceptional action damage. Has the bug been corrected to some extent? do I now have to wear the bracers or something? Or do some animals have attacks that use dmg other than kinetic? If anyone knows whats going on I'd really appreciate hearing it. Thanks

im pretty sure u gotta wear pants now cuz ive been getting hit pretty hard in the old action pool too

I can't say I've noticed this fixed myself. I normaly only use four peice suits & was tanking Elders last night, the only time I was geting big hits on me were the bleed ticks & the ocasional Lightsaber move they like to do.
I know somethings do stop this overlaping though. If you are wearing a skirt or a body suit for example.
Also I have heard there may be an armour hole surfacing again though this was a while back & no one found anything. By all means though if you are finding it's an armour hole let me know & I'll make sure it's heard about.

they've been working on fixing the armor bug that lets you only wear gloves helm chest and boots to get full protection so its possible they released a fix without including it in patch notes

Wait, if you are wearing a skirt or bodysuitthe four peice armor thingdoes not work? My bad if thats the case, I was wearing a skirt when this happened. 
Thats right, a skirt.... so what? it was a very manly one mind you, geez...

Yep there's your answer - a skirt is one of the items that can cause this... no more skirts for you I'm afraid!

I've been keeping careful track of my combat logs, and I am getting tagged in area's that once were not hit, so I have to wonder if they fixed this...a Dark Nova Trooper hit me with a 438 action bleed, for crying out loud...

I had a 590 health bleed from some rebel NPC from the PvP bases. OUCH.

I haven't noticed any more "hard" hits than usual. Though I do most of my dirty work unarmored. I know alot of the "armor holes" out there actually come from an NPC using a nasty special attack on you... like the time I got hit by an elite novatrooper with an advanced straife shot... yeeeeowza!
But the devs have been known to sneak things in without telling "us."
I still do just fine in duels in my 4-piece mini suit.

Yeah. Only time I ever got hit (a 1000 action hit from an elder XD) was with the TKA scirt on. Seems to be confirmed.

Bleeds are awful but ever since they fixed NPCs doing specials they have always been extremly nasty. I've heard of many Elders doing bleeds of 700+. As I currently have no medic I'm glad my swordsman friend who I hunt with alot is also a Master Doc.

I was wondering about this also, cuz Everything is hitting me for alot of action damage. I got owned by 2 NS rancor tamers fully buffed wearing 80kin/90base comp. They were hitting me for like 400+ action almost constantly...I'm gunna get some comp pants tonight to see if it fixes it? Also, I'm wearing shorts, does that have the same effect as a skirt or no?
