Thread: Im Sick And Tired Of The BS
I dont know about the power on the others, but the damage on that VK is beyond what most masters on my server (starsider) seem to make. At least with their normal versions. The higher damage ones have more HAM costs though...
In either case, Im not sure what you are trying to accomplish. If you wanted equality amongst melee professions, wouldnt posting some kind of breakdown like this on the Core Systems forum go towards the correct audience? Or maybe in one of the In Developement threads. Posting this on the TKA forum just makes you look like a whiner. And considering that you post basically the same thing (TKA hits too hard) every day of the week, its easy to see how one could get that impression. What exactly do you want from the TKA community? For everyone to rise up and say "Holy ****, hes right! We need a good nerfing. OMG how could we have been so blind?" You wont find that here. You wont find that on any profession forum for any MMORPG ever, nor will you in the future. People dont like being nerfed.
Why dont you take all of this energy that you have towards collecting data and take it to the other melee forums, and provide them with suggestions as to how they could empower themselves? That would be much more constructive, and would garner you the support of three professions (perhaps even four if you count TKAs) instead of the enmity of one.
Frankly, no one pays any creedence to nerf criers. They will come up with whatever information necessary to protect what they have. But people do listen to innovators and people who have factual data to back those ideas up. Post for swordsmen to get stronger weapons, for pikemen to get better defenses (and more skill mods. their tree is so empty), and for fencers to not get nerfed in this anti-defense climate. Im only offering this suggestion as you seem hellbent on coming here each morning with some new "incontrovertible facts" about why TKA is too good. Refocus negative energies into a positive force.

Or perhaps it's my VK, against his high kinetic composite...was around 80% protection, if I am not mistaken. Meanwhile, my blast protection was only around 65%.
Add the fact that he mind-bled me, then proceeded to blast through my helmet repeatedly while my KD failed to stick twice...
I did, however, manage to Warcry him, whilst I tried to stop my bleed with my meagre medic skills...meagre cos I'd already invested so much in combat...
And just when I'd stopped the bleed,there he was hitting me about the head again...
BUT, by your calculations, I should be GOD! Jedi should wither in the path of my gaze! My breath alone should be enough to chill the blood of my enemies!
And to top it all off...this happened at Dantooine's Mining Outpost...in public,was I, a God, humiliated! Oh! The shame!...
I cry out to the CSR's "Fix Me!",for the only explanation I can come to is that my character is bugged! A fight with a good Master Swordsman should not be a 50/50 affair! Fix me, so that I may achieve my true station in life...

And thank you for the compliment. Since you guys are claiming that you get raped by EVERY TKM on the servers, then your words can be construed to mean that EVERY TKM on the servers are of equal or greater skill than EVERY other melee fighter on the servers...
If this is not true, and you DON'T get raped by every TKM on the servers, then please speak up in an EQUALLY loud voice.
Xanasian brings up a simple point. There exists WAYS and MEANS to over-power a TKM. Nerf Cry is the lazy man's way out. Complaining is the easiest of things to do...IMPROVING YOUR SKILLS and EARNING CREDITS to get that uber weapon is pretty hard, but unfortunately not the style of the lazy, spoilt brat whinny kids. They want victory handed to them on a plate...and if possible, to ladle it off and shove it into their mouths for them as well...
Come here, for once, with some decent constructive comments on how the classes should be balanced. And don't get offended if people don't agree...that the right of the individual.
I want to see balance as much as any true TKM here. It gets boring after a while to keep handing people's asses back to them. Ask for logical improvements IN YOUR OWN professions and you would be surprised at the support you would get from the people here.
But the way you guys are doing it is like trying to supress the smarter and more hard-working in school so that your grades don't look so bad. THAT'S THE TRUE BS!
