Thread: TKM vs. Master CH with/without pets?

I have 3 pistolier trees and I have master CH. I often look for duels for fun and to spice the game up a bit. I usually have my level 65 Kimogila parked next to me but not to help in the duels-

UNLESS

I'm fighting aTKM and I get a KD - DIZZY from 20 feet away then it's ummm Kimo- sick em! Then with the TKM having 2 bleed dots on him/her and half bars it's only a matter of time unless he can incpap me and DB or end duel.

I have no problem with TKM's 80% of the time but when I'm like 20-25 feet away and they manage to KD -DIZZY me which pretty much means for a long time Lol unless I'm lucky then I feel it's fair to use all of my skills and that includes my pets.

I think the ability to knock people down from 20 feet or more is asinine and ridiculous- I guess that is my point.

Do TKM's feel it's fair for a master CH to use his pets in a duel? Just curious?

Peace

Phishead

Um, I think you have us confuzzled with Master Brawler d00dz. NO TK skill has a 20m range on it, I will repeat this for you, just in case you didnt understand me. NO Teras Kasi skill has a range of 20 meters, not even Master skills! Period, end of story!

Oh, and if your fighting without useing every attack mode you have available to you, then You, an not the TK is handicaping you, it's a duel, I wouldnt expect a rifleman to not use a rifle, or a Fencer to not use a foil, in otherwords, use what you brought, heal, run, burstrun, spice, use equilibrium after u healed then muon, whatever wins the fight. as long as it isnt a hide behind the building an shoot through it type exploit, is fair.

Thanks for the reply bro- I understand where you are coming from.

I have been knocked down by TKA's from ridiculous distances Lol. Unless they have rubber arms or are using the force then this is impossible Lol. Even if the consensus being 16 meters is accurate- THAT is still make believe- isn't 16 meters like 52 FEET?

So lets all pretend TKA isn't broken and somehow a TKA can shove me to the ground and make me dizzy from over 50 FEET away- jeeze guys come on.

you have to admit a 15 meter lunge is more like a short flight dude? superman style. Lunging 50 feet isn't exactly logical? Even for a computer game.

Before you reply........

Please think about it--- lunging....50 feet??

The point was that the lunge is a brawler special, not a TKA special. Yes lunging 50 feet is far fetched, but it is not a TKA skill.

Um, your missing My point, your bytching to the wrong profession, go to the brawler forums, TK does NOT have a 15m posture change, period.

An no, In a Perfect world you would NOT have a BRAWLER doing a 15m melee attack, but, this is neither a perfect nor even Real world, there is this little thing called lag, it cause you an the person your fighting to be at totaly differeent ranges, your computer May say your 25m away, mine on the other hand could say 4m. So, Untill you figure out a way to keep everyones toons at the right distances, guess what your going to get. fudges on attack ranges, loosning of ranges an OMG unrealistic actions in a SCI fi game, how could they POSSIBLY expect me to whack you with this VibroKnuckler or you to shoot me with a t21 plasma gun? do either exist in the real world? No, So stop trying to apply logic or real world senarios to the combat system here, it's just going to madden you an drive you crazy.

IF you want a TKM to say that it is unrealistic that any melee can attack at 20m, then fine, Ill say it, but I'll also say, dood, it's a game, get over it. Go buy some KDitems an dizzy items to add to your skills, and enjoy the game, the devs are NOT going to take the brawlers 15 or 20m posture change away, so, you might as well stop trying. and there is NO way yelling about a brawler skill is going to get TK's nerfed, so either find a new tactic, or try playing a TK to master, an see how screwed up for PvP we are. Then if you want to come back an say you think this or that is overpowering, at least you'd be speaking from first hand play knowledge and not what you saw some TK do to you, remember, he has a lot of skill points left after spending the ones on TKM, so to assume that it was a TK skill is faulty logic to begin with.

Im sorry Im sounding so irked, but it gets old to come here an see these OMG I was KD'd from 18 20 25 metters away! TK's gata be nerfed!!! when we CANT do it. Ours dont reach nearly that far.

Hes in the correct fourm this guy used a brawler special (which as worked on me out to 40m BTW) but a TKA for the dizzy and probably all the follow up moves.

WRONG, try reading the all the posts.

and it wouldnt matter, the KD is what he's upset about, thats what has a 20m range at master brawler, dizzy is STILL 8m so go troll elswhere.

and just a small FYI TK is NOT the only dizzing class, so your argument there isnt valid either.

I am not even going to bother reading posts after this one. I am fairly sure that someone will mention the fact that the 20-25 feet (meters) KD-DIZZY was either lag or a LUNGE2 performed by the Master Brawler portion of the TKM you were fighting.

Now for the CH protion of my post. If you spent skill points on it you should be able to use it. Just be prepared for your pets to be killed fast. Anything without armor and/or high resistes will die fast. And if a person is wearing armor the damage from a pet will just be laughed off. I would kill you first (you are the bigger danger cause you can think) then I would kill your pets.

I'm sorry... was the original post a stealth whine?

Yes ... use what you want to to win the duel unless you guys decide on some rules first. Discussion of terms of dueling is normal.

No ... there are many things in StarWars that are strangly science fiction. a 15 meter lunge is one of them. To experience another why dont you have your Kimo follow you into a cantina. and... dont you find it strange you can store such a large beast in a 'data pad' ???
