Thread: TKM vs ranged

I dueled some ranged classes recently..


What I found was -- hit burst run and knock them down and it's over most of the time. Also, you can catch up if they stop.


I didn't even have to use my cl 50 gurrek vs a commando. I did get burned after the duel though

I haven't been successfully kited yet. With the right strategy it should never happen.

Thats what I have been saying...we own...we just need to pick our targets wisely and use some tactics. TKM are a force to be reckoned with in the hands of someone who learns how to pvp decently enough.

3 cheers for this one. Once you land a KD2, it's generally over unless you're bleeding orget killed by one of his friends. Make sure to remove your VKs before you use lunge and KD to maximize your range.

with all these exceptional weapons ppl are putting those anti decay kits on pvp is getting alil bit harder but for me it's all those rifle man with those pre-nerf t21's i can handle the exceptional powerhammers and stuff but since i'm an all meele proffesion and have no range mitagation those rifleman tear me to bits with there new toys ..any suggestions?

Fight them with a stick (fencer style) therefore you can dodge allmost everthing as well as having high ranged defense. They can still jack you up when they actually hit you, buttry to give them limited time to do so.

yeah since your also a fencer i would recommend wielding a fencer weapon for the dodge... me.. im a master swordsman-teras kasi master-master brawler with some fencer defense.. i get tore up by rifleman..best thing to do is wear a good psg and a better helmet.

Try a Warcry if they try and kite you. You could try Parwan Nutricake + Burstrun then use Lunge/Lunge2, although this could be difficult if he stacks defence.

Keep Intimidate on, and don't forget a good PSG

Never had much experience with Rifles, but I would just go for Warcry/Intim/Lunge strategy, don't know any others.

If they try to kite you, run the opposite direction. You'll move out of their range and they will run back at you to get back in range, at that point run at them again. You can kind of play chicken that way and often trick them into getting too close you can use a lunge to slow them down enough to get within melee range. Then try to pull out a dizzy+KD on them. It can be tough.

There's one dude that's running around with a t21 max damage is 2819 pupp'd even if u have fencer ur so dead in one shot...

I'm one of those pre-nerf T21 wielding Riflemen. State me, blind me, use cover, put me on my ass, but DO NOT attempt to stand toe to toe with me. Even at Point Blank range, I'm still going to hit hard. You have more attacks than uahit3 and mindhit, use them. Unless you have some ungodly Acklay weapon, or an awesome mind DOT, you won't kill me as a Fencer, so don't waste your time trying.
