CLicky

I pretty much agree with this list, what do you all think? Anything you would remove, or add? Just some random trivia for you youngsters who might not have seen these yet....

Sonny Chiba from "The Street Fighter" is known to the younger generation as Hanzo Hattori in Kill Bill vol 1

Gordon Liu played the part of Pai Mei.... as you can tell Tarantino was a big fan of the old kung fu movies as well.

On the set of Enter The Dragon, Bruce Lee was challenged almost daily by other Chinese martial artists in real fights while the cameras were not rolling. Apparently, a lot of martial artists didn't "believe the hype" surrounding Bruce, and wanted to see for themselves... as the story goes, Bruce never turned down any challenge put to him, and never lost one either.

Fist of Legend is in there

Storm Riders was pretty cool too imo.... great for people who like "wire-fu" and lots of special effects.
It's pretty indicative of the newer movies the Koreans are making now.

Ya I listed it again because in my opinion it crushes Enter the Dragon(which I still like). Although the Zatoichi series is 1965 i believe and It rocks also.

Some are deserving of the list but the one that's most notably missing and iconic of Chinese martial arts is "Once Upon a Time In China".

Anyof the classicsabout Wong Fei Hong would top any of those on that list IMO, after all he's my great grandteacher. How can you miss a Wong Fei Hong moviestarring Jet Li? That's sacriligious!

Smuggler, Smuggler, Smuggler Pie, Two years of "Soon"(TM), a harsh bunch of lies.
Ask me a riddle and I reply: "Smuggler, Smuggler, Smuggler Pie"

Smuggler, Smuggler, Smuggler Pie, Dancers can't smuggle and neither can I.
Ask me a riddle and I reply: "Smuggler, Smuggler, Smuggler Pie."

Smuggler, Smuggler, Smuggler Pie, Why are there Jedi, I don't know why.
Ask me a riddle and I reply: "Smuggler, Smuggler, Smuggler Pie."

"Am I the baddest??"

"SHO-NUFF!"

"Who is the Master?"

"SHO-GUN"

"That's right... the Shogun of Harlem."

When was this written? AS any list that doesn't have Hero or House of flying daggers on just isn't complete.

Masterful films both of them.

And where is Karate kid for crying out loud?

I was suprised and slightly happy that they put the Legend of Drunken Master on there which is my personal favorite. Enter the Dragon as number one was no surprise though.

At least call it DRUNKEN MASTER 2 The first DRUNKEN MASTER from 1978 is pretty darn good too.

King Hu's COME DRINK WITH ME is great.

ENTER THE 36TH CHAMBER and MAD MONKEY KUNG FU are some awesome Shaw Brothers classics.

I would have put Once Upon A Time up there too, but I do prefer Fist of Legend as my favorite Jet Li movie.
