Alot of people will tell you get buffed and go to dantooine but that is not the most effect way to get TK Novice
I have down TKM 2 times so I will share my knowledge
First you get a VK or a few grinding quality ones and get them sliced always have the speed sliced one rquipped. Although you are not cert to use it the attack speed is still alot faster and you still do more damage...
Go to Tat and do mountain wort, dewbacks, and anything else you can find in the krayt graveyard
Once you get novice have a little fun at fort Tusken because they give good xp and die pretty quick.
Once you get bored killing tusken or they dont give decent xp anymore there are two popular ways to go.
1. Squill cave on tat, usually camped so I wouldnt bother with it.
2. Go to dant and stay on dant until you are 024- (- represent Combat xp line train as you get it)
I can not stress how important it is to fill up the power line before anything else, with 0040 you will hit as hard as you can until you get master and that nice unarmed damage mod.
Then train in meditation 2, allows you to hunt and grind and get to TKM alot faster
then you need the Conditioning line.
So as a recap your on dant and you are 214- in the TK tree
If you are daring and know what your doing you can get in a solo grp and finish TK by doing rancor missions on dath at 40k a lair.
If you get scured just stay on dant till you are 244- then go to dath.
Once you train in TKM I reccomend going to the weapons fac on naboo- if you are rebel of cource and take a grinding break and own soem dark storm troopers =) I always have fun spending a day there and just plowing the dark stormies and the surface marshals and what not.
Making money as a TKM is so easy its insane
1. get in solo group
2. head to dath
3. get missions kill 2 or 3 rancors so they cant heal the lair spam UH3 on the lair get on you bike and go to the next one =)
Just a side note english is my only language but grammar isnt so if this doesnt make sence read it one more time and youll see waht im saying

This sounds about right. I got the Power techniques line first and it became much easier to solo large aggro creature mob's. Then I went combat balance to keep those darn Rancors from dizzy/KD me. Somewhere in the middle I managed to Meditation II so I can power boost also. But overall I thought it was a pretty decent post. I'll add a couple things:
When/if you go to Dathomir, don't forget about the Nightsisters/Singing Mountain Clan. They give out good (4-4500k) xp per head not to mention decent loots, but you should be using your /examine before you /attack. There are plenty of both Nightsisters and SMC npcs, who have very high kinetic resistances, even 100%.

Hmm I agree mostly about the vk's being used at the start. Where and what to grindI think is preference. I have also done tkm twice. The first time at tusken and various other places. I did the UA tree on tat and It was way slower then getting lesser bols on dant. I however did the grave yard at novice through master the second time. This place is crazy with xp if you hit the right spawns. Tusken is so sad now cause the elite spawns are gone and almost everybody on tat grinds there on my server. There are about 20-30 guys at most that I saw grinding at the graveyard (not at same time)when I did all the elite melee there and I know we were getting way more xp up there and were alot nicer about not interferring with each others lairs. Nothing sucks more then having a lame commado flame 2 your tusken commoner while at a low tka level at fort tusken. I also agree about dath being a great place, but I found endor nice grinding as well. All preference if you ask me. The key points is grinding. Anytime this is asked, we should ask ourselves was our way the best way or is there a better one now? Tusken used to be the place, now remember the robes and helm drop again and the elite spawns are gone. Have you been there recently? It's like a frigging camp fest and way to many high combat profs are camping it. I would skip this place all together if you want to get great xp at a fast rate. Now of course this is what it's like on my server, on yours may be different there. I agree with some of your points but obviously don't agree with others and for peeps that need money doing quenker missions and grinding may be there best way to keep getting paid and level at the same time. For us grinders that had a few 100k in the bank missions can wait till we can solo the rancors again. It's more about xp for us. Not the case with all peeps that have limited funds. just my opinions andd no flames intended here. Just making some points.

though, mokks and janta missions missoions work way faster, there onl 26-30k (in the right city) but you can do 2 missions alot faster than ranors, and they dont heal the the lair, so you can just kill it and run.

I suggest getting power 2/3 doesnt really matter which then getting balance 1 for the kd and you'll be doing 50% additional damage when they're knocked down, also you can use it along with dizzy 1 to keep the npc's down which will really help. Then finish up power then you can either get meditate 2 for power boost or just finish up balance. Then finish up whatevers left of the meditation tree, If you you had no previous combat exp you'll need about 20k more or so before your a master. This is usually the way I master TKM and I have done it 5 times.

mioks and jantas from Dantooine, go to a city with improveed mjob market, if you are a smuggler then with slice you are looking at 44k per lair. No need to not kill em, im not even master tka yet, but i cna handel them easily, and the 3k of xp is abonnus to the cash. however. Solo groups are bvorked, ithink they weere stealth nerfed. And with current mission buggs, I am currently not doign any missions haing lost over 4.5 million since hte last patch inborked missions.

When did solo groups get borked? I'll be honest haven't used them since mastering Commando and droppping it, but was thinking of using them again.

The Dath idea is still the best.
You typically get a lot of missions not paying out on Dant and the fact that they pay less anyway doesn't help.
I've tried both methods and Dathomir is definitely more profitable.
Kill the pair of rancor waiting at the lair. Kill the lair while ignoring the spawns then high-tail it outta there.
