I would like to clarify something. Not having any weapons is a disadvantage. One that some people are proficient in. You CANNOT expect to be evenly matched when dueling a riflemen or BH its just not possible. He has a gun, you have, well, nothing. Thats what makes the game fun though! The challenge! If you picked TKA to kick BH butt then you're in the wrong profession. Although the Teras Kasi artist is a very effective fighter he cannot hope to compete against someone he cannot hit. So stop complaining about how it sucks. Its the way its supposed to be! I love Teras Kasi because Its more fun dying then constantly running away from your enemies blasting over your shoulder like a coward. Thats all I have to say. Flame away, if you must.

If this is about PvP you wont even get a chance to get close to them, they would of already set their 'pet' collection on you and run to safe distance before opening fire.

But TKA is still the most fun skill line available, and I don't even use pets and don't do PvP for that reason.

i am a tka of 0/1/0/0 and i do go for PvP at times and i must say i do pretty good at it, sure i die a lot but hey its still fun i happen to attack a guy the other day and managed to take a good chunk of his life before he lit me up with a flame thrower ( he didn't have a title up when i attacked) it turned out he was a master cammondo, owell its still fun you just have to know how to pick your targets carefully

I have bet many Bount Hunter's, Riflemen and Commando's that would think differently than you after facing me.

I'm not tooting my horn and i'm not a "1337 d00d", but i know how to play a video game. In duels obviously, don't start it outside unless you are standing close or unless your inside. In PvP buildings are your friend and so is the element of surprise, use them to your fullest. Corners are godlike.

dude jarx i kick the crap out of BHs quite often and other ranged professions for that matter just running after a gun toter like a blind idiot WILL get you killed, try out some MK3 generators and such and it cuts the ranged guys do by half. use some tactics and you kill/killed ratio will sky rocket.

pokemon commandos seem like the new flavor this month. i don't play the game to PvP all the time, but it seems like every PvP group i've seen has at least 2 characters speced liked this.

As a TK I dont even use VK, because this contradicts being unarmed, no matter how disadvanteging it can be.

I am a TK and I regularly kick BH butt.

I dueled a Commando for over 4 minutes... it was pathetic. His flamethrower couldnt hit me at all... but when it finally did, ouch.

ive knocked BH's on their butts. If i get my KD in before they have time to start the run/kite manuever, its all over for them. I like to get them to challenge me first, i walk up, /bow2, then accept... KD, unarmedhit2 till im dizzy or they get up, theni try lunge. if that fails i pull out the scout blaster and go to work.

everyone that picked teras kasi was under the impression that we would get boosts to run and some sort of blaster dodge\evade . .. active defence manuevers. So there is your flame geniuos.

Would it suckif TKA are were weaker than BH/Pistoleers? Yes, they ARE suppose to the martial arts masters after all. But if getting rid of the masses of lamer TKA's means I have to get mauled by bountyhunters then I'll do it in a heartbeat.

ROFL, I've seen that! I wanted to go knock that TK's teeth out like chiclets, but unfortunately, I couldn't...

This is why i have chose Master pistoleer w/ combat line of smuggler, With that alone i can take on a Bounty hunter (even with mind shot) but this is also a great help for tka as you can knock your opponont down with lowblow, then if they arent too far away dash to them and do the works to them with TKA. This works great for supprise attacks. Not only that you also get the great defensives of TKA w/ Pistoleer, This combo works great for pvp for me.
