Greetings TKA people.

After reading through many posts on how to quickly level up in TKA (as well as Rifleman. Pistoleer, and various other fighting professions) it basically all comes down to the same thing:

-Get High Kinetic Armor, Doc/Entertainer buffs, Mind Enhancing Food/Drink, Muon, afast/high damageweapon, go to Dantooine/Endor/Lok and beat down everything that moves - preferably using a good specials macro.

This, ofcourse, is the FAST way to do it.

I'd like to hear from you all on the most FUN way to do it. If it takes 5 times as long, thats ok. Please tell me what you have had the most fun doing as a TKA.

Now I understand that many of you are speed mastering skills either to become a Jedi or to enhance your PvP experience. I would like to do both as well. I'm just looking for your input on fun ways to use our skills, fun ways to level, etc.

Keep in mind:

- I have no composite armor

- I am 0010 in TKA

- I have a swoop / x34

- I have never used a buff

The most fun I have is when I go to Dantooine and duel standard Huurtons. They have about 3600 - 4500 HAM, so it's a very even duel with me, especially if I get in the risky 2 v 1. It's just very adventurous to me because 1) they yield satisfactory XP without feeling like a powergamer (1500 XP) and 2) they almost always bring me down to 1/6 of my full HAM, so it's always a nailbiter at the end. Plus with a vehicle, it's almost perpetual fighting, and avoiding the guys that can still whip me is always good fun. In my style of work it takes more tactics than brute force to come out alive, but I've yet to die (that doesn't mean I haven't been incapped, heh)

Get buffed, head to DWB, remove your amor and try it solo....honestly it's fun dying quickly

Fun is in the eye of the befunder....or...something.

Depends on what you find fun. A difficult challenge? Roleplaying? GCW? No matter your flavor, there are ways to have fun, but it varies from person to person.

To quote the theme song from "Diff'rent Strokes": "What might be right for you...may not be right for sooo-oooome."

here are some of my favorite things to do in the game. (i never wear armor, and i'm usually buffed)

head to endor or yavin (they seem to have the largest creature population) and just run all over the map killing anything that moves and harvesting resources off of them. first off, it'll make you a decent amount of money by selling the meat and hide to crafters (even if it is low stat grinding stuff) another advantage to this is that you get to see lots of critters out there that you wouldn't see while taking a rancor or quenker missions. you'll also get to see lots of really neat, hardly ever seen stuff that the devs put into each planet. for example, two days ago, i found out that leathery hide on Talus on Lowca was some really good stuff, so i went there and did the ole slash and burn technique of killing everything in site. while doing this, i ran into some really neat little things. like there was this altar type thing, it had 3 stone pillars, that met at the top, and had a fire burning inside the top part. there are TONS of little monuments like this all over the galaxy.

if imperial, head to the large imperial outpost on Lok, and run the 8k credit imperial destroy missions. usually has a pretty decent force at each mission. comprising of 4-5 tropps, usually most are generals, or commandos so they'll actually try and put up a fight.

other than that, check the maps for POI's you've never been to yet, and check them out, some should have a badge, and a cave to check out.

/agree. Fort Tusken is a fun place to get xp. Who doesn't like killing tuskens and looting their gear?

I think you can have fun both buffed and unbuffed.

Buffed, fun things to take down are rancors and tuskens--for similar but different reasons. I like watching tuskens do the flop, and I like watching rancors crash to the ground, burying me while the damage numbers are still going up. In fact, I love when I'm so covered in enemies that I'm invisible, and I can just see those damage numbers rising. Are either of those risky while buffed? No--fun, yes.

Unbuffed, my favorite thing to do is factional stuff. Get a faction mission and do it unbuffed--that's a challenge and lots of fun. Especially if you don't use any ranged on your targets. Stormtroopers are excellent kiters, for example--and there's the added risk that they always DB you. They're also pretty tough when you're not buffed, but you can take down several of them if you pay attention and use some tactics and all of your abilities.

Yes, The Tusken Fort is lots of fun for a TK, even dor a strugling Brawler on the way to TK.

Tuskens puts up quite a nice fight, give good XP and gang up on you. All this things let you fiddle and fuddle with pretty much evey special you have since they are suceptible to all of them (dizzy, stun, unarmedlunge, you name it). I specially like to be surrounded and throwing some spins around and watch them all go down at the same time.
