As an extremely dedicated player, and a great guy, it saddens me to hear that Griffin has been injured and his condition relatively unknown at this time. My prayers and best wishes are extended to him, his Girlfriend, and his Family. Many of you may not have seen the post in the Eclipse forum, and so I felt it appropriate to add a link here in the TK forums.

Wow! I just wanted you all to know I'm actually printing these things out because Im working on a collage for him to put in his room. I can easily see why he thought so highly of all of you, thank you so much for caring about him in this time.
I just got back recently from the hospital, his fever went down over the day yesterday and he had his third surgery this morning. About two hours ago he woke up, I was only allowed a few minutes with him as he was being moved, he was very aware of what was going on and as active as one can be in his state, constantly looking around, trying to talk and those kinds of things. That kind of activty really made me smile! Hes staying in the hospital over the weekend for more testing and therapy preparation but from what the doctor would tell me he made it through the first two surgeries with flying colors, but the third one drained him a lot and they may keep him longer than expected. He's got pneumonia, but they say that can happen after a series of procedures and it wont affect him.
I do know he is okay, and will make a full recovery eventually. in the few minutes I had with him I told him how many people care about him, and how sweet all of you are in thinking about him, he even cried! but dont tell him I said that. :-)
I wont say what actually happened even though I know people are curious, I believe he'll talk about it when he gets back. Which if all goes well could be sometime next week! so they say at least
But after this final surgery they say he will recover completely, it will take time, but he'll get there. and I believe it was because of all of you, and his friends everywhere who cared about him. It was a tough week for all of us, but to know so many people care can fix any problem, .
And thank you so much for your e-mails, prayers and concerns, youre all a great group of people. Youre all the best people one could have as friends. I'll make sure to tell him more about your kind words since I only had a few minutes to do so, tomorrow I will have more time with him if hes awake.
Thank you all so so much, his family is all scattered right now and cant be there as much, but I know your prayers and thoughts mean a ton to him. I cant even thank you enough for caring its helped him so so so much, which has helped me too.

I hope he comes back soon and feels better even sooner, he's one of my favorite folks on the board. I know a lot of others feel the same way.
