Better question is how would the extra VK benefit us without making us over powered? If it is for looks alone then there is no point... Hardly see them. I like the idea of dual weilding pistols... The class needs something. I rather take a second damage type over dual weild 24/7/365 (366 on leap years).

dual wield = fencer and Pistoleer IMO!

i dont see why we need this.


Frankly I would rather just have more normal fist weapons like the RVK, and maybe a newbie grass knuckler and special gloves and that sort of things.. crazy daggers and dual wield objects is to much IMO!

think about how much HAM we would use up.

Lol. But dual-wield, if limited to fencer and pistoleer, then it must exclude the geo pistol and stun baton... it would make them unbeatable in pvp. And dual-wield with TK would also make us way overpowered.

The developers have stated that dual wield is being implemented after the combat rebalance. there is absolutely no way to comparethe mechanics of how dual wield will be implemented with our current combat mechanics, which from what we have been told publoicly looks like itwill be scrapped for the most part. Just sit back and wait to see how it comes out.I alsosee no reason why theteras kasi profession would need dual wield, other then for visual aesthetics.

From day one VK should have been a "pair" of VKs. Do you buy a single glove or a pair of them? People even still refer to VK as a "pair" unconciously without realizing it even though it has always been a single weapon.

A VK should become a pair of VKs, and the only change needed is a name change and a graphics change.

You may ask, "What's the point?" What if a sword looked like a pistol and a fencer was swinging at people with it in combat? It would be stupid even if it had no real impact on stats. Same deal with a VK, why does a TKA wear a single VK and then go into battle swinging both fists?

Stun weapons are no more powerful in PVP than any other weapon.

Really? Have you ever seen a Master Fencer or Master Pistoleerfight anyone else? Most people have low or no stun resists, so it goes right through their armor.

Why does almost everyone use a JAwa Ion Rifle..?? Stun is VERY useful in pvp

Over powered as it may be, would certainly look kinda cool, maybe, we could wield 4 and have some kind of boots, walking razor knife, man, im imagining that rebels face.....

As they said, dual wield will be implemented after the combat balance, so then stun will not be the end all be all damage type since they are adjusting armor as well.


Besides, the majority of PVPers have 40% stun armor.


40% reduction from the number that is posted up, then since Geos and Stun batons are AP0 they get a 50% reduction.


So, is someone with a stun baton going to do much more damage to someone with a AP1 Vibro Knuckler against 90% kinetic armor?

Let's not forget PSGs (up to 48%stun unsliced on my server)as well.



Now, instead of a jawa I have 2 choices. a Disruptor Rifle (Acid Damage) or a T21 (energy damage)


Ill post rough examples of my rifles


Jawa: 100-400 damage with a powerup AP1 (Stun)Gets blocked 40% by armor, then another 48% by a PSG


Disruptor: 200-600 With a powerup AP2 (Acid)Blocked by 80% Composite (Average stats) By 80% AP bonus goes into effect +25% PSG does not effect because of Vuln to Acid


T21:200-700 With a powerup AP3 (Energy)Highest damage weapon. Blocked by 80% composite AP bonus goes into effect +50% damage. Also Blocked by PSG but since of AP bonus does not work.



Which is going to do more damage? Does it Really matter which rifle you are using?
