The highest I've ever seen a TKA hit a mob for was like 2400, the highest I've seen a pistoleer hit a mob for was about 2000 or so. This shouldn't be happening. A real bruce lee badass kung fu dude should be able to kill a marksman in1 hit or so.

Like in real life, there are plenty of people who can take 4 to 5 pistol shots in the limbs and sometimes even chest that will fight and live with or without medical attention.

A hard ass kung fu dude can break your **edit** in one punch or headlock thing. They can also disarm people, and a TKA should not be able to be pistol whipped under any circumstances. If they can block/dodge punches coming in at 5 times the speed of somebody with a heavy gun, then I think they should be able to block/dodge pistol whip with no problem.

You're right, theres nothing more fun than when a pistoleer can beat you senseless up close and far away. Good idea, I feel dumb. The good side is that only about 85% of combat classes have pistoleer skills so that means that we still have 15% that can't beat our asses too bad, still beat our asses, but at least we can take 1/2 of their HAM down with us.

TKAs are the gimps of melee? That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. TKAs are the gimps of SWG.

Oh yeah, forgot to ask. What exactly DO we have "going" for us btw? I'd like to know so I can start utilizing those things immediately.

Damage numbers dont matter much to me, it damage per ammount of time. Also important is the ability to actually hit your target at a given distance. Here should be the distincton between melee classes and marksman classes. The game has a good general Idea, but still needs some tweaking.

TKA is just one of THIRTY THREE classes, butaccording to you whiners, we should outdamage everyone, and be invincable in pvp. But wait! Teras Kasi in the star wars lore is ubber! I want to be ubber too! Guess what, that would make for a game even more hopelessly out of balance than this one is. To have even half the power you would want from the lore, there is no way it should be even as close to easy to master as it currently is (yes it is, live with it, i don't want to hear you cry more about leveling).

TKA beat a jedi on some webpage thing! I show it as evidence to the true power that i should unlock! Read it, the jedi didn't use any jedi powers, and he kicked the tar out of all the other tka he fought except one guy in the finals who took 40+ minutes to defeat him.

Sorry to burst all your bubbles. I don't support Pistoleer in any way or anything, I am a TK myself. But in *Star Wars* Pistols actually hit VERY hard, the thing is, you are sacrificing range for major damage, that is how itw orks with BLASTER pistols in Star Wars. You could even UP pistol damage, the whole thing is the range needs to be cut short.

Sorry but shoot someone with a .45 APC or .50 and no way hes gettin up. Hell in 5m you could unload a full clip before he could close.
