ok not that I have got there yet but if I can heal my own wounds battle fatigue will have little to no effect on me ? or does it slow down the healing process ?

Battle Fatigue affects other areas of gameplay (most prominent example is Doctor Buffs. Anything over 250 BF causes the buffs you receive to be lower than they normally would be).

Plus with a high BF, trying to heal yourself (stims) becomes less and less effective. Also over time, you get wounded faster because you are basically tired.

You also hit less often and get your defences lowered. It's basically fighting while you're exhausted so your will be less effective over all.

Ok, so what is the magic number?
How much BF is too much?
I can go on a typical grind and get over 300BF.. this is a lot?

250BF is the magic number... that's where you start to "tire"... effectiveness goes down.... i get 1000BF in one buff round(atm)... err... can some tell me something about BF? what makes you get it faster? slower?

BF is based on the number of wounds you take and has a 1:1 ratio. This is easy to check as you just go out and fight starting with no wounds and no BF. After a while of fighting check your stats and your BF should be equal to the total amount of wounds that you have. There are a few things that will throw this number off however. Of course it is obvious if you do things that will heal your wounds like meditate, sit in an area where wounds auto heal (ie hospital or camp), or get a doc to heal your wounds it will not match up. In addition only wounds taken from hits will count toward BF so if you get wounds from fire or disease DOTs they will not add to your BF. Also when you take a bleed yousometimes suffer from a large wound to the pool that the bleed hit and that does not count toward BF either. Hope that helps.

You can also see when your BF occurs if you watch your combat chat area. It will tell you when you get it (in green by default). And your screen will flash when it happens, too.
