Yup,
I am currently TKM/Master Armorsmith. I went NS hunting, and seemed to get my butt owned SO FAST. Not aganist Elders, but Sentinals, Spell weavers..
I was buffed
Armor
Canape
Brandy
And my mind dropped like a fly, just as my health did..Any advice homies?

- Better armour ( 90% base)
- Ahrisa and not canape for 45 mins of no mind cost
- Mind buff (if you dont include this as standard buffs)
- Blue milk
- Novice medic with 12pt crafted stim Bs
- Snythe steak
- 50 filling Vercupti
- WC/Initm bando
There you go... thats all the stuff you need to add to your list so you wont get owned again

i just used stun armor cause they have nasty batons and without stun you go down quick............oh and ahisra brandy and me 220dmg VK

what weapons did they pull out?
I've been onehit killed by an elder with a stun baton before, and like someone else said, they can pull out some very nasty weapons. DOT's, scythes, powerhammers, you have to be much more careful around them now.

This is odd. My compadre and I (both TK) went NS hunting and didn't get killed once, though he had to switch to his stun baton and I switched to a flamer to take out the elders (I think they have 100% kinetic resist or something). He also soloed the big spider at the bottom of the cavern while I finished off the elders. no problem. Maybe one of these posters is right about your gear, were ya wearing bone armor or something?

Notice:
I am an Armorsmith..I don't spoil myself armor wise, but I wear what I can...
Hell my customers got better armor, then I use for myself..
I wear 4 peice set: 83% base 40% stun helmet/ chest unsliced (HAM killed me), 74% base 40% STUN boots, and 70% base 8)% kinetic gloves

don't forget intimidate like they said... and center of being, CoB is a must against high level mobs.

what are your mind pool stats at? with double brandy and canape you shouldn't have any mind ham costs

the reason you died so fast is probably coz you wherent wearing a full suit of composite...
i know mobs mostly hit body but i realised the very nasty truth tonight, got buffed, got brandied up to the 9's and went to endor for some dark sun dudes, wheni got there i realised my gloves where totally dead, so i left em off, no point wearing em if they wont protect me... half way through the fight he the assassin closes in and pull out a vibro blade, i switch to knuckler and try to get states on him, then wham he hits my hands with cho mok (spelling?) for 4647 points of damage = insta death....
i have faught NS and DS before and never had a problem. untill today, the one time my armor was cracked.... not saying they never killed me before but i always lasted a good few hours worth of hunting, instead of 35 mins like i did tonight hehe

Bleeds are a big problem, they can put 1k bleeds on you that hit all pools, and yeah, wear a full suit of armor

Actually gloves play a huge role in armor.
Gloves/Helmet/Boots/Chesplate= protection=9 peice set.
With you not having gloves nor bracers, you equal out to have no protection in the arm area.

i was dueling someone with helm gloves booots and chest and when i hit3 (im tkm) i sometimes did 400dmg because i got through the armor hole, he did the same to me with strafe shot 2

Only NS I get owned by is probably more than 1 protector, or an AP Elder, or any of them with a stun baton=P
