Thread: truth about Combat equilibrium?

I have read multiple posts on combat equilibrium and what it does, and each of them contradict. I would like a final answer as to exactly what it does. I am fairly sure it makes you auto pop back up when state changed (like kneeling/KD/etc.) but does it let you pop back up through a dizzy without falling back down?

I think it does. I mean if it truly does control or determine the whole "pop back up" effect, then yes it seems to do it regardless of dizzy.

Thanks for your input. I would like others to verify this if possible. Any one else got an guess/truth?

Yes, even through dizzy. And I'll tell you why.

Dizzy only takes effect when *you* posture change. That means you have to actually do a /stand or /kneel or something. If someone does a posture change on you dizzy won't make you fall, and if combat equilibrium makes you stand automatically it doesn't make you fall either.

Ok. Thanks for the explanation.

I'm probably going to keep TK now. I like the PVE and combat equilibrium will be usefull when mixed with fencer.

I think if you use /equilibrium, it replenishes or evens out the damage for all the HAM bars. I saw a fencer using this, so I guess it is the same as TK.

This is a zabrak skill called equilibrium, combat equilibrium is a tka and fencer skill that will stand you up regardless of a dizzy state.

So you are saying, the correct way to proceed when kd-dizzy (a rancor actually did this to me not too long ago) is to sit back and wait, not touching anything?

Once you're down, you're down. Combat equilibrium has a chance to make you get up when you're knocked down. If you actually stay down then it failed and you're on your own.

The best way to get up is to use a special macro to heal dizzy (if you're a doc). If you're not a doc then you should try a /stand about once a second (don't spam it).

I got KDed a couple days ago fighting rancors solo. It was a shock because it was my first KD in months (I have +120 vs KD). I was also dizzy, but the one-stand-a-second rule worked fine. It took a little while but I got up.

It was funny to get a taste of my own medicine for once.

Combat Equilibrium..."gives you a chance" to recover (stand) after being KD'd...it is NOT a garruntee that you will auto-stand after being KD'd.

As Master TKA, I have a Combat Equilibrium of +55. (not counting any BE foods, etc.)

I HAVE been KD'd an had to MANUALLY do a /stand command to TRY to get up...sometimes I get up right away...sometimes I have to try it a few times to get up.

It should make you recover from a downed position other than standing.

1 stand a second is wrong. Just make sure that you dont queue multiple stands, as you will get back down if you change your posture by standing another time (and most likely knocking yourself into the same hole you started from ). I think it is a bug that should be fixed.
