I hate to bother you with stuff like this but I don't know any TKM's well enough to get a "good" response. So here goes.

Last night, around 4:40am est I was grinding out my newly aquired commando skills. A flash of blue cruised by my on a speeder bike and I thought nothing of it. Then the earth started to shake rattle and roll and I looked just in time to see not 1, not 2, but 3 canyon krayts at full throttle after that speeder bike. Now this is exciting for me as I have never seen a krayt before. Oh I have been told the stories of krayts. And have heard enough to know to steer clear of them. But I followed anyway. To see for myself the nastiness of those things.

I didnt take long before I managed to catch up to the speeder bike, and the THREE krayt dragon, 2 adults and one juvinille. I was amazed at the size of these things and wasn't sure how close I could get and still be safe enough to burst run if need be

I was even more amazed to find, you guessed it, a loneTKM in the middle of these THREE krayts soloing them and doing a fair job. He(nameless until proven guilty) didn't seem to need any help from me or anyone else for that matter. No, he wasn't using an object to "catch" the krayts. In fact we were in the wide open dunes of Tat. Looked to be wearing comp, I assume 80% kinetic, but he would not respond to anything I said.

Now at last to my question for TKM's. I know nada about the profession, but can every TKM solo multiple krayts? If not, can a TKM solo a SINGLE krayt? The responses here will determine whether or not my screenies get sent in and his name reported. Thanks for your looks and if TKM's can actually do this....I'm looking for a new line of work

it can be done supposdley. but I have never witnessed it.

Maybe I am confused. Are you saying it is possible for 1 TKM to solo 3 krayts? Thanks

did you see him do anything wrong?

did you see him actually kill all three?

since this was your first time seeing a krayt i will give ya the reason of doubt that you do not realize when fighting something as strong as krayts, kimo's and ns edlers you simply do not have time to respond to a tell much less see it during all the spam in the combat log.

if he killed them all then he is pretty bad a$$, however if you did not stay around to watch how can you report someone for attempting to solo three dragons and getting sent to the cloner. if you do not see him kill 3 dragons then you cannot assume he did or did not and send in a report on him.

anything is possible in this game. the developers have ceased to amaze me with the put off of the gcw and combat balance. you do realize that if he is a master brawler he can delay each of the adults for 20 seconds at a time. intimidate2 them reducing their damage by 50% as well the whole time killing the baby. then proceed to do the same on each dragon delay and fight the other. 20 seconds is a long time to heal yourself with good stim b's and with plenty of patience it can be done.

im confused as to why you would want to report a player for doing nothing wrong.

2 Juvie's and an Adult at the same time? With a Good set of Full Buff's Doc and Mind, add in Power Boost, Food and Drugs on top of that... and 80% Kinetic Comp. Maybe, Warcry the othere two.. kd' the 1.. hmm..

It might be possible... especially if you through in Master Brawler.. though, I would still like to see it.

Yea, im curious as well... i have witnessed someone pretty much SOLO the tusken Observer. When i asked him about how he was able to do it, he replied that he had a 45% IMP. PSG and 85% comp armor. (funny thats EXACTLY what i have) and the Observer can take me down in 2 or 3 shots. I am a master Pistoleer with some carbineer and no matter what i do, i cant even HURT him let alone solo him. THIS guy was a fencer (and he too will remain nameless until proven guilty) but I think they make these NPC's this difficult because you arent supposed to be able to solo one of them. I'm not sure but i think it must be an exploit as well. I am posting here because if its not, I want in on the secret LOL. Is there some reason a melee profession can solo these guys while the rest of us get our *SSES handed to us? Also i have seen a guy solo the Fire spider in the Geo cave with no trouble at all whatsoever, (granted the Fire spider is not TOO difficult but I couldnt solo him.)

Any answers here other than I have HEARD it can be done would be great. Perhaps a DETAILED explanation of how and why it can be done? If noone can give good reason as to how a TKM can solo THREE krayts when a juvy will kick my butt up and down the block, then i'll ask a CSR if they know how its done

Yes I actually SAW him kill the juvi first, then an adult, then I got dead fast, 4 hits from the last adult and I have the standard 42%imp psg and 80% sliced all comp armor. Instead of cloning I watched him then proceed to kill the third. All alone,taking very minimal damage from all 3 at once. I am new to krayts. Not new to the game. The only thing I saw "wrong" was something that killed me in 4 hits in about as many seconds were not scratching his surface. Thanks for the response. I think I have made up my mind

ok....let me give you my experience with Krayts...

I'm a TKM / MGF / MSmuggler

TKAs get something called unarmed toughness...this reduces the amount of melee damage we take at any point. (not sure if it's melee or Kinetic)

I was tanking for a group the other day...switching back and forth between TKA and Pistoleer...

I had full buffs (mind and all), 80% Kinetic armor, and a 50% PSG.

When I was using TKA, I wasn't getting hit for more than 100 points every few seconds...my secondary buffs well covered that.

When I was using Pistols, I was getting hit for 500-600 damage every few seconds...big difference.

When I was using TKA, I was hitting the Krayt for about 200 acutal damage a second. I had a 191 sliced vk, with a max damage powerup for a grand total of 211 max damage VK.

While as a TKA I could *possibly*tank for 3 Krayts, killing all 3 without a double sliced VK in the amount of time you described is damn near impossible...

We deal Kinetic damage, which I believe a Krayt has 80% resist to...

so that's my experience...

however, without any evidence of him doing anything wrong, ie: combat logs, chat logs saying he was exploiting...we have nothing to go on...

1) you're right. Anything IS possible. It's possible to catch a krayt on a harvesterand laugh while you kill him,its possible to magically leave your ride at a shuttleport and when you pull it out on the other side, its brand spankin new again, but.... these things are called exploits and when they are found they are removed for being unbalanced and making the game unfair and no fun for some people.

It shouldnt be possible to kill THREE krayts at the same time by yourself!! OR the tusken observer for godsake. I mean the Observer is about 50 times harder than the Tusken King. It just shouldnt be possible and unless someone can give good reason about why and how its possible then there needs to be something done about it.

2) that should answer your second statement that i highlighted. Ropik was not saying that he is going to report people. he is saying that he wants some answers the same as i do. I want to know HOW THIS IS POSSIBLE. Im sorry but warcry/intimidate does not seem to cut it. THIS IS THREE KRAYT DRAGONS HERE PEOPLE!!!! I know that that would be a challenge for a group of TWENTY. So please if you have done it tell me how. I have a wookie TKM friend that can follow your directions to the letter and we can find out once and for all if this is possible or not.

no offense, but a Wookiee TKM isn't going to cut it...

you need at least 80% kinetic armor, though some higher would probably work better...
