Thread: CoB and macro question..please help. Anybody??

My current CoB macro has

/centerofbeing;

/pause43;..and so on..


When i look at the icons i have in contl-a it shows an Improved center of being.

Do I have to change my macro to include the "improved" version of CoB or does it automatically use the better one?

If i have to change it, what is the command for "improved center of being" so I can edit my macro?

I have already tried /improvedcenterofbeing and it comes up with a bad command message crap.


Please help.

/addalarminin 0 dont move (that wont work i forgot the actual command)


/pause 2;


/macro cob


yes /centerofbeing will give you improved

this is the easiest to type.


Name: CoBloop


/centerofBeing 1


/pause 47


/macro CoBloop


Always worksit lasts for 45 seconds. I ALWAYS have it going just incase a aggro is dumb enough to attack me. No problem though only takes 19 seconds for a NS to go down.

**edit** With some goofing around I realized COB works as shown


/COB;


/pause 43;


/tell Tahl Stop!;


/macro myCOB;


I also use


/bactashot;


/pause 90; (adjust to your needs)


/tar tahl;


/macro healme;


I am still tweaking these but so far is working pretty well.

imp cob is 40 seconds and without any system message you have a better chance of moving, so its kinda wierd

Hmm, 45 seconds by my count, but I set my macro at 44 seconds to be on the safe side.

Does anyone else have a problem in pvp with the darn cob not kicking in because of moving? I try real hard to stop but sometimes it still doesnt work. How do you overcome this if possible?

What I don't understand is ifyou move, the CoB doesn't take effect and you would have to use the skill normally anyway. I noticed one macro had something about "not moving" within it but also said it didn't work(?). Regardless, I have 12 fingers so I don't need macros.

wow... just wow


if it wont work when you move, how about not moving while it warms up


set it so you send yourself a tell or get a system message where it tells you to stop

My CoB is queueing. This eliminates the dependency on the macro. If your opponent is smart, they'll KD you with 3 seconds left and you'll never know the CoB is gone. When I'm pvping, I'll use my looping macro which is the same but has a /macro CoBLoop

/cob
/pause 40
/echo \#5555FF---------------------\#FF0000COB ENDING\#5555FF-------------------------------

Here's what I use:


Macro CoB


/dump;
/macro CoB2


Macro CoB2


/center;
/pause 43;
/macro CoB2


Works, but I have to keep a close eye on it in case it messes up. If it does, I just hit my CoB icon again and it dumps and starts over.I might put an alarm in or something just as a reminder to watch it. I moved my health bar over to the right side and move the target's bar below it so I could keep an eye on both easier.
