thats how it is in the books .. jedi's fear TKA .. we need to be strong for jedi hunting or player bounty when they are added .. i would think5 or so TKA should be able to kill a jedi .

I always thought Bounty HUNTers hunted jedi.

In all the books and Novels Bounty hunters were hired to kill people and sometimes jedi when they got in the way. They were some times employed by the empire to locate Jedi. Teras Kasi Artists were rare like jedi and viewed themselves as the jedi police. The balance of power you might say, to keep dark side jedi in check. But hey but each version of SW is different.. (Movies, Books, Games)

what books ive read almost all of the post return of the jedi books and have never herd of tka could i have some titles because id really like to read about the tka.

There was a mention of Tera Kasi on like page 8 of Shadows Of The Empire. Basically said a TK was the equivallent of 8 stormtroopers or something to that effect. There might have been one other reference to TK somewhere in the EU but I don't remember it at this time.

This bull**edit** about Tera Kasi being the gaurdian of Jedi is bogus. Most of this bullcrap stems from an RPG or fan fiction. Fan Fiction + RPG = NOT CANNON OR EVEN OFFICIAL.

So get time to end the 'jedi hunter' tera kasi wankfest and go bounty hunter if that's what you want to do.

Actually... four of five Teras Kasi guys could beat a Jedi. Only one needs to hit with knockdown, and only one needs to hit with dizzy. The rest is easy. They just gave Jedi horrible defenses with an extremely powerful weapon.

I'm referring to the standing of Tera Kasi in regards to the Star Wars universe. Game balance is irrelevant.

There is hardly any mention of TKA in books except for briefly in Shadows

They did take out 8 stormtroopers without breaking a sweat(shrug)

And there was the game Masters of Teras kasi

So i see it that we may have some connection to the Jedi

I wish I could remember the source, but apparently the Teras Kasi were formed after a war waged by Jedi ravaged their planet. Though Jedi knew how to control the powers of the force, the Teras Kasi knew how to control the powers innate in all people. They took it upon themselves to protect their world against the Jedi... and the Jedi even have a healthy respect for the powers of the Teras Kasi.

This has been brought up many many times. TK is a martial art that anyone, including Jedi, could learn. It is mostly fan fiction (search for TKA on the Star Wars website, you get absolutely nothing) and regardless, whatever happened in the RPGs/fan fiction/etc with TKA will have no bearing on this game, especially anything to do with "watching" or "hunting" the Jedi or having any sort of force powers.
