How to fight different professions in player versus player fights...
Pistoleer
These are the closest ranged, range professions. They have a 35-45 meter range. They have one root, it lasts for 12 seconds (stopping shot). The timer is a very long one, I don’t know the exact time, but its around 30 seconds +. If they have enough combat medic to use the snare, your going to have to use a burst run. The pistoleers are not slowed down by weapon hindrance, so they can run just as fast as you can. But, you can catch up to them eventually, and when you do, get two hits in, knockdown, and then get two powerful hits in, and they will probably go down, if your tough enough. [Bounty Hunter is usually mixed with profession]
Carbineer
These ranged fighters have a slightly larger range than pistols do, but with it they have weapon hindrance, slowing them down. Carbines generally do a moderate amount of damage, normally depending on your armor. Carbineers all wear battle armor, but they usually mix with BH and CM, so they can wear Battle and Assault. They have a snare, and no root. I believe. The snare is short, but the CM snare is not. Usually MBH MCarbineer CM4000. With no CM snare, Carbineers are slow, because of weapon hindrance. Run up to them, don’t use burst run unless they do, and use 3 shots, knockdown, and use 2 more shots. If done correctly, they will die. But there will always be the really good pvpers, with great armor, and you will probably have to use 5 shots, kd then 4 shots while they are down.
Rifleman
These are the ranged profession with the longest range, 65-75 meter range. They do not have a root, but do have a snare. The snare is short. The technique I use against rifleman is just a tad slower than that of the carbineer and pistoleer. Because I find rifleman do the most damage to me. Run up to them, do not use burst run unless they do, and hit them 3 times, knockdown, and hit 3 more times. Riflemen are slow, so they shouldn’t be able to knockdown recovery as fast as pistoleers and carbineers.
Smuggler
Smuggler, these are deadly with their 35 second root. I have a very hard time killing smugglers once they get a root in. But smugglers have little defense, and go down fairly quickly. I find that you immediately attack smugglers, and knock them down quickly. Hopefully you can damage quick enough to incapacitate them. I know this may not be as helpful as can be, but I hope someone else out there knows another strategy.
Squad Leaders
I almost spit out my soda when I started writing this.
Pikeman
The most dangerous assets of Pikeman are their war-cry and intimidate. Intimidate lowers your damage output, which is quite scary. Also war-cry, is a speed de-buff, which is scary to someone with 12% speed sliced katarn knuckles. Pikeman duels are long, but if you use a dizzy and armor break [If you have it], you can push out 1k dmg on each critical hit, and 500-840 damage on head hit and combo attack. I usually don’t find Master Pikemans to be hard to beat.
Swordsman
Swordsman, they are a FoTm at the moment, their damage output is really scary, 1.5k critical hits. I found that their defense is mediocre, and with their known speed issues, if you get a kd in at 1.5k health or below, you can easily hit them all the way down. But on Bria [My server] we have a few good swordsman, who are “undefeated” i.e. Crayza. Good luck against swordsman, they tough.
Fencer
Fencers greatest asset is their action de-buff. The action de-buff causes your action to deplete very fast. But, Fencer’s don’t damage very much, and their defense isn’t very good either. The nerf bad had a ball playing with fencer. But if you do find yourself in trouble with a fencer, remember this: When the action de-buffs runs out, get a quick knockdown, and hit as fast and as hard as you can.
Teras Kasi
This is where you find how well you rank against your own kind. Beware, the tactics you’re using, are probably the tactics they are using, change it up a bit.
Jedi
Jedi are tough but manageable. MLS do a lot of damage, but keep some steak going and you’ll be fine. MDef have a ton of defense and you just need to keep your mind high enough to keep healing until their force runs out, and it will run out! MEnhancer, a support prof. don’t worry about it, just make sure your health doesn’t go way down so they can stasis you and get power attack or something in. MPowers, beware of choke, that’s really all they’re good for right now.
A goodfood shopping list [Just a suggestion]...
Canape (Its like a full stat buff)
Vegesparsine (cant spell) (+100 melee defense)
Crispic (Melee Acc. Boost 11minutes)
Air Cake (+50 Dodge) Very Low Filling!
Bliel (30 stimpackreduction)
Steak (Only room for one more, but its useful)
Booster Blue (+20% Mind Regen +20% Action Regen +20% Health -20% Health Regen)
Only use one drink, so that u can reuse bliel all through the fight, so you can cycle through good heals.

Good guide except for Fencer. When I was TKM, M Fencer, 4000doc last spring I used the Junti Mace and would put out dmg like I was using a 750max dmg LS. SO dont say they are weak in dmg especially combined with armor break...
And what you fail to comprehend, is that I was also that exact template ![]()
Nyenthi'Oris Blade.
I did some damage, but when it came to TKA with cob on, and melee defense food. Its hard to go through em, I barely ever could, unless I got a kd bug on em.
Gotta admit, I don't do the bliel/stim thing too much, and instead I like to have a good varasian brandy in there
Also I know it aint a food, but you should add booster blue to the list ![]()

also, does an air cake with 50 dodge have less fill than a pikatta pie with 50 dodge? I have never even tried air cake before, always thought it was just a lesser version of pikkata
Im almost completely sure it is lower than pikatta.
I mean it has like 9-11 fill. Thats really good ![]()
Oh weak lol, I always thought my canape and brandy were stacking ![]()
knew something was screwing up my foods! And now I know what it is, awesome

Lol yah, when you have two foods with similar stats on them, if you take the worse one first [In stats not filling] and take the better one second, the first is erased.
yeah that air cake kicks Pikatta butt!
whats its duration like?
