Thank you devs for paying SOME attention to our profession. I think these new fixes are a move in the right direction:
I would like to address to things though:
1. Unarmedcombo2 still only show 1 point of damage when used
2. What do mean VK range increased TO 5m? I thought is already was at 5m....or did you increase it 5 more for a total of 10m which is what we have without VKs?
Thanks Devs for the response and hard work, I will not however, stop my relentless pursuit to fix all the issues with out profession until everything that is brought up in the forum is addressed.

You need to slow down mate. Your opinions are all over the map. One moment you HATE this other profession because they beat you, the next you are quitting because you can't solo a mob, the next you are extatic over some small changes to VKs and knockdown.
I am happy they are fixing KD vs. Mobs, sure.. I am also happy they are decreasing HAM use, although I think this was already in. However unlike you, the things that interest me most have nothing to do with my own professions.
Look at the bigger picture, they have fixed a number of crafting problems, and have fixed Bio-engineered clothing. This means better items from crafters and more of them. More of them means lower prices (probably) and better quality. All in all, the big bonus this patch has nothing to do with TKA, directly anyway.
If all you ever do is focus on your own profession, you will miss the over all scheme of things. You will never understand how players with other professions can make you better, and how you fit in to this Star Wars universe as a player.
If you are singlemindedly trying to get the most uber char possible, one that can solo anything, can kill any other player, it just aint gonna happen. So, go ahead and quit now just as you originally intended. It will save us all a lot of time.
Ok...you need to go away cause I am the one that posted the big deal on helping the Pikeman...I posted that big petition on every forum so dont give me your misconstude garbage about only caring about my Profession cause you are out of line MATE.
I believe it was me that posted a message wanting to start a Guild on Kauri for ALL Melee classes and I believe I am the one who gets 15 messages a day by Pikemen and Meleers alike asking to go hunting with me to help their XP and money.
I believe it was me that was GIVEN 100K in credits by a player because he wanted to support my cause for helping other Mellers with a Guild and bringing all Melee classes together so get off my back with that stuff because are way out of context MATE!
Although I don't always agree with him, Xeonus is correct. He has been pushing for all melee classes to get their dues. He posted the "Save the Pikeman" petition on just about every board, and he did want to make a guild for meleers on his server. I believe he's been a much more productive player in general than most.
But with all due respect, I think we do need to slow down on the "fix this, fix that" talk. We need to come together and decide what the number one issue is with the TK class. The patch didn't due much for us in particular, but that's fine with me. We need to take what we can get and then go from there.
Keep up the good work Xeonus. Don't let the man hold you down.

Ok so you cross posted on EVERY forum trying to help one profession: Pikeman. That makes you a hero now? No, it makes you an idiot in just about everyone's mind. If you want to support Pikeman post in the Pikeman forum or maybe in the General Discussion forum where such posts belong.
You want to help melee professions? You want to start an all melee guild on one server to somehow help your fellow melee guy and thereby gain our respect with your magnanimity? Well you don't. You already showed us what you were after in your first post on these boards: "TKA SHOULD DOMINATE ALL!" So your support for melee is self serving since you are melee! A
So now even if your intentions are wholesome, what do you do? You announce to the whole community that you quit! OOOOH THAT'S REALLY GONNA GET THOSE DEVS IN LINE. That seems a bit like the guy who commits suicide to spite the world thinking: "This'll show them!" What about that 100k that guy gave you to start the melee guild? Did you give it back? What about all those poor Pikemen that so desperately needed your help, you are going to abandon them in their hour of need?
Give us all a break with your holier-than-thou attitude, it's a big lie and you know it. I really wish you would just quit and leave us all alone. I am sure I am not the only one. I need to go away? I'm sorry, weren't you just leaving?
Thx Boomer....I agree with ya.....we do need to discuss the number one issue for our profession and it realy TICKED me off that the Pikemen got N-O-T-H-I-N-G out of this patch...amn I dont know how those guys stay in this! They are admirable.
Ok...yeah I run my mouth alittle too much but I have been a gammer for years now and played it all....SWG was probably one of the most anticipated games in my life because like everyone here I am a Star Wars freak...so I get alittle flustered when I see the devs, well I aint gonna get started.
The only real reason I praised the devs this go around was because I beleive they need to be told that THIS TIME they are moving in the right direction..thats all...I in no way am backing off completely...I feel that they maight be trying to get focused this time on our wants and I just wanted to Re-enforce that...

And since you are obviously undereducated yourself let me be the one to tell you: your first amendment rights do not extend to private discussion forums. You have no right to post here at all, the privilege can be revoked by an administrator at a moment's notice.

freedom of speech doesn't give you the right to insult people here mate, this is a privately owned forum, hence we are censored when using more colourful language. And because someone calls you mate, doesn't mean they're Australian. However the remark was just plain racist. You might not think so, but from where i'm standing it was both out of line and entirely unfair and unjustified. I don't see any anti American comments being thrown at you. I never asked Tonka Toy or whatever his name is to start the mudslinging by making personal attacks and making false acusations about me not caring about other classes. That was a false hood and way out of line and context. I can say i I was in defense of my statements because guess what...He was the first to comment...pretty obvious I think.
The whole purpose was to get player attention and let them know that maybe, yes something is being done...now if you want address that..fine do it constructively but I am not going to sit hear and waste my time playing tag with you infants...Aussie or not...I dont really care.

Where are you getting all this Tonka Toy crap? My handle has the name Tycho in it, not Tyco. Tycho is a reference to Tycho Brahe not a toy company. If you don't know who he is, you clearly show your lack of education, so I wouldn't be criticising others!
if there is one thing i dislike the most in this planet it's hypocrites. The people who don't have the gonads to say what they mean and do what they say. The ones who trust in the saying "Do as i say not as i do." Worst of all the ones who don't admit when they are wrong. The team switchers who jump to the winning side.
As for the patch, haven't given it a try since all the servers are locked or still loading. I'd love it if the dizzy/kd works as before nerf (works at all) and would have really loved it if they gave us that margin of error of 12m that they said they will, sooner or later. But i don't see that in the patch notes. Either way, i have a bad feeling bout this patch, real bad. I think they released it way too early from what people on TC have been saying. ALOT of bugs in this one, so i hear.

btw Xeonus go take a brake from the computer man. you get so worked up over things, it doesn't promote postitive feedback.
and to talk about postitive feedback, the devs will lock any threads that do not supoort this? why are they allowed to? because the internet doesn't =America, and even it it was, they still could do it under U.S. Law.
they have to abide by american law if they sell a product here. They have to offer this product to everyone, and the freedom of speech allows them SOE to get away with alot of things, but they just choice to not push the envelope because of sales. now this is a private forum, and you are privliaged to use it because of SoE, they have every right to bann you from the game, or from this forum. if you dont bleieve this then obviously you have not read the SOE EULA terms of service. if you believe those terms violate your constitutional rights as an American, then by all means contact the department of justice. you will find however, that they do in fact have that right. it is sony who is protected in this case, not you.
