I am completely lost! A few weeks ago i started my TK and now im a Master. I have no idea where to go from here as far as the rest of my template goes. I currently have 134 skill points remaining because i invested some into medic skills,so i have no idea where to go with the points i have remaining. I have narrowed it down some. I know i definitly dont want to be a doctor or be pure melee, so i was wondering if anyone could give me some advice. I love to PvP so please take that into consideration. Thank you in advance for any advice you have to give.

Maybe try a ranged profession such as Marksman, you have several guns or rifles choice, or perhaps Squad leader if you have enought points ( the squad leader can provide group bonus ), there is always CH if you like playing with pets, the Smuggler gun skill line can be an option too.

Good luck.

Sqaud leader would not provide any real benefits in pvp. I really have no taste for hiding behind pets either, so CH is definitly out. I was thinking somewhere along the lines of either Master rifleman or Master Pistoleer/smuggler. Both have there Pros and Cons but im not sure which one would serve me better.

Master Pistoleer and do the Dirty Fighting line in Smuggler. You'll be amazed.

Doctor is good. Make you tank even tougher. The Smuggler idea is awesome too. Switching it up can make you tough to beat.

Check out the TK FAQ in the sticky links above. There are some sample templates

Well, I like the melee and group defense..( if it's really working of course ), terrain negociation and so on but to be honest, I've never played enought with a SL in pvp to have an accurate point of view.

I didn't know being a CH automaticly implies that the you have to "hide" behind your pets. I personnaly fight with my pets ( sorry for the typo and spelling error ).

Good luck again

What is is with some of you people? Hiding behind pets, does that seem cowardly to you? Let me tell you, it's just a viable as a rifleman mind bleeding me from 60m, or a smuggler faking death or using panic shot for 3k damage, or a pistoleer doing a crapload of damage to me every second.

God I get tired of some peoples "holier then thou" attitudes. Picka profession or two that you enjoy and have at it.. all professions have their drawback and their strengths. There is no need to react negatively to someone elses choices.

Oskori, he must have hit a tender spot there!

As far as your build goes you will be pretty mean in PvP with:

Master TKA
Master Brawler: Ranged KD, Warcry2, Intimidate2
Rifleman 4/0/4/4: Speed mods, Ranged DB, Mind Bleeds, Headshots, AOE Dizzy.
Medic 1/1/4/0: Can use 40 med use stim D's.

However, the pistoleer/smuggler dirty fighting IV option is pretty tough.

If you want a good pvp template, the best is probably to add dirty fighting under smuggler and pistoleer. I have a TKM / Rogue and I haven't lost a duel as long as I can remember.

I meant no disrespect to the CH profession. Sorry if it came out that way. I should have just re-worded it better to say that it just isn't the profession to me. So don't get me wrong, i greatly appriciated you going out of your way to give me some advice. Thank you, and sorry for the confusion.
