Well my eyes were opened today to the reality of what TKA is in this game and in the role of PvP.....

Me and a buddy went again a whole group a gunfighters and dueled them one at a time....and we got owned everytime! Sad to say..we couldnt KD, Dizzy or anything....every person there form veteran gunfighter to novice was kicking our butss right and left...no matter what we tried, no matter what we did, no matter how we did it.

They were nice enough to let us try different things to try to figure out a weakness in there methods...but finally they got bored with us...TKMs and we couldnt even last 3 seconds..EVEN at 3meters....

Well that does it for me.....I now realize the full extent of the devs love affair with gunfighters and the like and to continue this farse is irrational and foolish. They have no intention of fixing us and we have no chance against people like this in PvP...I mean eveytime guys...at least 30 time i was on my back against every memeber of this group...I could not even get a lick in....

I am going to allow my subscription to run out until Febuaray and then I will wait for World of Warcraft.....at least it got good reviews in the magazines unlike SWG.....

Well...I must humbly bow out, I have no desire to play any other character but TKM..Iove Teras Kasi and will not leave it...I will leave the game first...and I am.....Godbless you all...I had more fun in here with you guys than at any other time. I hope you guys have a good life and take care of yourselves...

You could always run into buildings. Ranged professions like bounty hunters and commandos are often arrogant enough to follow even a tka master into a small building.

oh and if you think tka is bad, imagine how the other melee professions feel

i agree with the guy who said that you have to use your brain to be a successful TK... it all goes hand and hand with what other skills you take and how you fight in PvP. how do i do it you ask? im a TKM / master doctor.. i just buff myself yesterday, marched right into anchorhead and it was funny watching 8-10 rebels having to work together to kill me. i got about 3 of them before they could finally take me out.. and when i cloned covert i'd just meditate off my wounds, pull out a droid, rebuff, put up droid then head right back in the fray lol...

and PVE is fun too. i can solo all kinds of nice things with the doc buffs on.. only thing that gets me is if im a TKM why is it i only get 25 difficulty missions on lok? hmm... ( did they nerf that again ?)

dude take your knocks,losing is the only way to learn how to win.remember there is always someone better then you or luckier.in real life as in this game.

at first i was a little dismayed when i tried PvP,but now i honestly dont get all worked up over it if i die.i messege the guy telling him good kill,if he answers great,if not i feel good knowing i congratulated him.

first off,dont fight their fight man.if he turns to run away dont follow him.run the other way before he knows you turned he will be over 64m and he will burst run to catch you.when he does he will blow by you.then unleash hell as he comes by.learn to use your radar it is your friend.watch his dot moving in on you.

carry a ranged weapon even if it is just for show.if he sees you have a laser rifle he will close.trust me deception is half the battle.

i may be a master CH also,but i only used a pet once in all my PvP encounters.if you dont believe me then you obviously have never met me.and thus no loss.

weather you take my advice and try it is your decision,nobody can hold your hand and make you good at it.you have to suck it up and die like the rest of us till you find something that works.

It's all about expectations, I think. No matter how good you are or what skills you have you won't always win. There will always be circumstances where you will fail. Learn to recognize them and avoid them. Simple.

I hope Lo'Pan gets back up again from his fall. Gets back on the bike... back in the saddle... Whatever...

Accept that there's still a challange there and rise again to meet it once more. Defeat is how we learn. Adversity is our teacher. Never stop learning. No matter how much it hurts.

I agree with Lo'pan, PVP is not fun at all! It is very hard to learn because you have like 3 secondes of practice at a time.

So, that is why I don't do PVP. I really love TKA and only do PVP to protect my guild HQ.

My advise? If you don't like it, don't do it! Enjoy the rest of the game!
