Tonight I was attending an event wearing a dashing smock of gray with a yellow sash... Unfortunately, what most everyone I asked (after it was pointed out) saw was me in my yellow pants and ubese/composite normal, everyday adventure gear. They even saw the scythe I was not carrying... I had changed the uniform an hour before even leaving Dantooine for Naboo. This is very similar to the weapon bug where it will show a previous weapon equipped after switching.
I'll see if any of my guildmates that also attended took screenshots. I may have one I took in the properuniform... boy, was I embarrasedif everyone saw this at a formal event.
bad timing to be bugged!

sometimes it happens... it's some bug where other people see you in an "older version" with clothing you've previously worn. I've had that happen to me or seen it happen to others a few times (you can even catch it happen to me once in one of the cantina crawl videos), and sometimes relogging clears it up. sometimes it doesn't

I've had it too. I just re-equip clothes a couple times and if that doesnt' work, just relog quick. Not too often will that not work.

Yeah once a bug showed our guild leader wearing a composite chestplate, a chef's hat, and grannie panties. She threatened death if any of us took screenies.

I have had that happen a few times.
Usually the only thing I have found that fixes the problem is to log off long enough for your character to actually leave the game and come back (which takes awhile). Its one of those bugs thats really hard to reproduce because it doesn't happen very often. Otherwise I would be asking about it all the time!

yea, I shuttled, re-equiped, changed, relogged(a few times, I crash a lot) , reloaded, re-equiped again and it didn't clear up until much much later. (I kept asking people)...
Oh well, I have to wonder though if this is why we keep seeing everyone in their composite armor, when it's possible they are wearing a finely tailored uniform.
We shall dub this the "Emporer's New Clothes" ... er... "feature"
edited for bad spelling!

heh, my favorite was having the 'old clothing' bug, changing clothes a few times and logging a couple times only to end up with the 'naked bug'
Was a while back, but if I remember correctly it just cleared up on it's own.

Im no 100% sure about this but i think the bug happens when you meditate with certain clothes on and then change clothes while still meditating. When you try to change clothes again after stopping to meditate , i think this bug will occur.

I have a screenshot of a friend of mine suffering from only half of the naked "feature".
His shirt and gloves were equipped... but not a stitch on below the waist. This is the funniest example of this bug I've ever seen.
