Hi like most of you I have no clue what each resource costs me. Some I get from an extractor, some from friends, some from buying them. My Bio Engineer has the same problem. So that means a calculator is out of the question so I take my cause to the people...i'll add in my cost for the clothing item but what would an item cost with a +4 melee +15 stun defense in it? I know that it uses more than 1 for some items and how they don't stack and all that. Let's say I sell a shirt for 2k and i add 1 of those tissues (example) what would be a fair price on your server? I'll just go with an average. Basically my bio engineer gave me the tissues and I make the items and we'll just split the money because I'm the master tailor and master merchant. Any feedback would be great or if you have a good system to use because i'll be getting different stat tissues and I am lost.

Hello
My alt is a BE, so I can get away with pricing a little lower on BE clothing, but if I were a tailor that didn't have access to a BE, a +4/+15 shirt I would probably sell for 17k or so. It really depends alot on what you're paying for your tissues.
Personally, I think you can go as high as 20k on it and sell it just fine. Also, it depends on the amount of tailors who sell BE clothing in your area. One thing that I've noticed with my customers is that they seem to be very much concerned with lower value (+4). Seeing as how all it would take is two items of clothing for them to wear to max out the bonuses on the second value, the second value isn't that big of a deal for them (although it sure does look better to have it higher
)
Hope this helps!

Don't forget to add if items use 2 tissues and more. Usualy that is another 5k on the first price per aditional tissue. For instance spec-ops duster uses 2 tissues for the same bonus.

For me, no matter how many tissues the piece of clothing takes, I always price my BE modded clothing at 1k per stat and that goes on the highest stat. Say for instance I make and sell a +4 melee/+16 def.v.stun bandolier, I charge 16k and they fly out the door. If I make a wooly shirt that uses 6 tissues and it becomes a +25 injury/wound (doc) shirt I charge 25k and those fly out the door also.
It really depends on your relationships with your BE's but one in particular that I use charges 75k per full crate so if I sell 3 +25 shirts, I've used 18 tissues and have 7 left for extra profit. Other BE's I use charge me considerably less because I order in bulk from them and its usually about every 3 weeks.
Anyways, I've used this 1k per stat pricing scheme a long time ago when I first started doing BE wear, its worked for me and many others I know. I would check around to other BE clothing vendors in the area on your server to get a feel for what people are charging.

interesting. here is the thing, i have a vendor in probably one of the busiest malls on the server. I made formfitting undershirts with +4 melee +15 stun and sold then all out at 20k a pop in 1 day. I sold a doctors dress +25 +25 wound injury for 150k, actually a few of them. I split everything 50/50 with the bio engineer, i am master merchant and master tailor and he is master scout and master BE so we both have about the same amount of work to do and we mad ea few hundred thousand just off the first crate of 25 he gave me. Thanks for the input guys

I do two things.
1. Stock obscene amounts, its sure to impress people, people are likely to find what they want and also likely to return expecting to find what they want next time without looking around first.
2. Prices for my BE clothing start at 30k for 1 tissue items and go up from there. I find people are willing to pay more when they know they can get what they want from a vendor fast and effectivly.
But in reality every server is different with economics, some servers have more/less tailors around and competition can bring prices down.

I price everything at 1k per stat point. So a +5/+15 item is 20k in my shop. However, if there are two related bonuses (such as the +25 dancing/+25 musician stats) I sell that at just 25k. I also subscribe to the "stock obscene amounts" strategy.
