Thread: Is Tailor ever going to GET SOME LOVE!!!!!!

I've been a tailor for 18 months solid and I am so sick and tired of waiting for the Devs to give us some attention!!! Everyone needs clothing and there have been clothing bugs plagueing us since launch that they dont want to fix. I just want some new clothing styles and adjustments to the color palette. Balancing the stuff. We need a revamp...I'm sick and tired of the combat (aka Jedi is good example) professions continuely getting the Devs attention!!!
If anyone else wants to vent I believe now is a good time!!!

Be very careful of the kind of attention/love you ask for regarding a profession... it tends to break other things that previously worked right!
Besides a few color palette horrors still.. tailor was getting straightened out for most part. There was much more messed up in beginning. Imagine having to make one of every necklace just so your customer could view them cause there was no picture gumps or having to make a website so your customers could go straight to it to view clothing. Things have come a long ways since the beginning but still much now they must fix due to patches/hotfixes adding in content that for some reason breaks existing content that did previously work right
For instance, sockets never were an issue, then we get the lovely wookie armor padding content so that we can experiment per some popular demand not sure why exactly... whoopie... now our sockets get messed over just like Armorsmith.. coincedence.. I think not, heck they didnt even need to place wookie armor padding in our skill tree could have made it artisan or they could have just left out the need to make it experimentable as far as I am concerned and just made it a component that we make like synthetic cloth or reinforced fiberpanel *rolls eyes*
Secondly, atm BE clothing cannot be made.. who in the world knows what messed that up... all I know is that 3 weeks ago I was able to craft BE outfits and now cannot and there has been no mention of why or what happened or anything from developers... go figure
Eventually, they will fix it, its just a matter of how much time it will take to accomplish, which unfortunately as with the necklaces above that needed picture gumps in our crafting window to get fixed, it took literally months... so lets hope its faster than that

I play quite a few professions (past present and future) ... they all rather need some attention. At least with Tailor we got some new clothes awhile ago. The BE tissue bug is a definate breaker for us ... however its not only us suffering. What we can do is sumbit bugs and help our Corro here when they ask for it.
However sometimes its just nice to vent

That is *so* true, and is fast becoming a trend. So, you want a revamp smugglers? muahahaha, I'll give you a revamp. How about a nerf to concussion shot and a screwed up slicing system. THERE you go, enjoy!
Combat droid armor doesn't work? Lemme fix that... there you go, now your droids all come out level 1, your experimentation no longer matters, no stats show up on the deed, and oh, by the way, armor is STILL broken.

No, it's ok SOE, really it is, go do a revamp for someone *else*, we're fine, really we are!

I appreciate the replies but I just feel for the past 2 years we have consistantly taken the backburner or not been on the stove at all for having any main direct attention. The devs seem to be fully occupied trying to make all the jedi/Bh's happy with constant tweaking. In every patch they get something whether they want it or not...
I just wish they would actually come out one day and say they planning a Tailor overhaul and really put some energy into adding new and exciting stuff to tailor. To fix issues which have plagued us for alooong time. Yes, I remember the days when we couldn't see necklaces or certain clothing. But look at how long it took us to get that fixed and then it was piggy backed in a patch.
It just seems after 2 years we could get a dedicated amount of attention.
