Firstly, alot of the stuff suggested is nice, but alot of it is skewed towards women, and i think that the devs have completely forgotten that there are some guys out there with a fashion sense, lol. We need more MALE based clothing in the game people, its plainly obvious. Half the stuff Tailors can make is women only, i dont think there is a thing on the list that womens cant wear unless its wookie stuff, but i could be wrong. I wanna see more SLEEVELESS shirts, sorta like the ubese shirt, just different varieties. We also need more ideas for pants, like baggier stuff that maybe some of the younger players would love to get their hands on. Also, The Exquisite Leotard, can someone tell me why a Male version wasn't made in the form of like a dress shirt or a skinsuit????
Another thing is we need a much broader range of colors, like a 255x255x255 color palette, i mean, be real, I WANT PURE YELLOW CLOTHES!!! LOL Earrings would be nice as well, and they have been mentioned. We alsoneed some for real hats like BallCaps, Cowboy stuff, hell, even funnier stuff, but just more of a flavor for men. I'm not saying dont give the women nothing, lol, hell, give them more too, but dont forget the guys as the Devs already have.

Ya I think your right the females have a much better selection to choose from. My character is female and I am female in real life but that doesn't mean I have overlooked this before now. Another thing that I don't like is that all clothing is shown in a female version..as if it was on a female. Makes it hard to display a nice outfit in your shop for the Gents! There is a shirt that females can wear but only if a male wears it does it show up with a tie. The suit shirt..so not completely only male but I think it is the closest I can think of. But certainly not enough in my opinion. I like the baggier pants idea and some new shirts. I don't know about the hats thou if they fit into SWG many have said they don't and I am kinda uncertain. Part of me says who is to say that with all these tailors about that one of them didn't come up with a cowboy style hat at some point. If this was a real functioning world surely some tailor would design some new things that would be cutting edge for the time. We really do need more hats thou..me being a Twi'lek I am not lackign but the other races sure are and I get asked so many times about nice hats. I have to tell them there really isn't much.

I agree, men could do with more and better clothes. One person gave up his male character and started playing a female because then he could wear nicer things. Bit extreme maybe but that's what he did.

The smocks are also male-only, which I hate, because they look so cool!
The female clothes that are female only are that way because they're shaped to fit around breasts. It would be nice if the art team could make those items (like the sports wrap) fit a man's chest as well.
I personally think that no items should be gender restricted, so I would oppose adding male-only schematics, or more schems that appear differently on men than on women in ways other than fit. I'm annoyed that tailors can't just choose to make a suit shirt with or without tie instead of making it gender based.
But I definately agree that schems should be added for everyone, and many of them should be more masculine styles. But we've been crying for new schems since release and the only ones we've gotten have been the chef things and the limited use apron. So at that rate it'll be quite awhile before we get a better selection of clothes...

I created a female character because I anticipated that females would have a wider variety of clothing options. Go me.
