Hey there,

I mainly try to sell clothes that matches together, and I've been wondering about some styles.

Like, what goes with what in Ithorian clothing?

How can I create a Pirate Outfit for each specie?

How can I create a Japanese-looking suit?

Well, here's my best selling outfit for Ithorians:

Block Jacket (i think that's what it's called)

Newsboy hat

Twin Striped pants

This sweater they get that's sort of like a turtle neck with faint verticle stripes

i make the jacket and pants primary colors the same. the stripes on the pants, the sweater, and the secondary color on the jacket the same color, and the hat's primary color is the same as the jacket's primary color and the secondary color on the hat is the same as the sweater.

i've made a few outfits of these and all seem to really love them.

my personal favorite is the one i dressed my clothing vendor in. the Jacket primary color was Black, and the sweater was an olive greenish color.

I don't stock a lot of ithorian clothing on my vendors, usually leave that to custom orders.

As for the Pirate outfit, i've never done one before, but here's what i was thinking:

Pantaloons - dark color, black, grey, olive

Trim Lined Shirt - bright colors, red, purple, blue, orange

headwrap - maybe in a dirty white, but any color would work

sturdy boots

Or the knickers that are bound at the knee - i cant think of the name of them right now.

As for the japanese suit, best i can think of right now is what my friend's so fondly call "the bathrobe"

with dress slippers, or the sandles.

Back before I picked up Ranger on my main character, and switched over to camo clothing, here is what I wore as a Teras Kasi Master:

Black Sunguard
Red and Black Decorative Vest
Red and Black 2-Toned Skirt
Black Sandles
Black Ubese Shirt
Black Ubese Bracers (both arms)
Ubese Gloves (love the spiked gloves)

and usually when I was on Tatooine i'd take off the Decorative Vest and Ubese Shirt because us Rodians don't like all that hot weather out in the desert.

so maybe something like that could work for a "Japanese Suit" if you're looking for something with a Martial Arts feel to it.

putting together all the "mystic" pieces with a jazzy jacket looks great - i use the wild purple and orange on the bottom mini row of the palette for a eye catching look

*thinks to herself* what is the proper name of the "bathrobe" .... oh heck... i'm so bad with names... it's a robe... full length.. comes in really deep bold colors... looks very much like a male kimono if you make it in deep red (looks like a bathrobe in white)

a few other ideas - the obvious - holiday themed suits are quite popular at the moment. And factional uniform styled outfits sell very well on my server. My best seller though are my trademark ((well ok, i don't really have a trademark lol)) Blue-jeans by Sakura. They usually sell within 20 minutes of me putting them on the bazaar. Renaming things seems to work wonders.

yes it most certainly does.

right after JTL came out, i made a killing selling "Pilots Gloves" "Alliance Pilot Gloves" "Imperial Pilots Gloves" and also boots of the same naming system.

I came up with "Mr. Myagi's Teras Kasi Wear" set.

It consists of:

Decorative Vest: "Mr. Miyagi's Decorative Vest of Doom"
Ribbed Shirt: "Mr. Miyagi's Ribbed Shirt of BANZAI!"
Belted Skirt: "Mr. Miyagi's Teras Kasi Skirt of Death"
Link Steel Reinforced GLoves: "Mr. Miyagi's Teras Kasi Fists of Fury"
Sunguard: "Mr. Miyagi's Teras Kasi Hat of Meditation"
Sandals: "Mr. Miyagi's Sandals of Wax On Wax Off"

Here is the pirate outfit i created for my twi'lek. For the males i give them a trim lined shirt. the outfit also looks nice with pantaloons. for the species that can wear "regular" hats i give them a headwrap to match the shirt (red shirt, red headwrap).

Yes, I've been trying my hand (paws?) at tailor recently, and have started crafting wookiee alliance pilot's helms (Orange/White) and wookiee imperial pilot's helms (Black/Grey). Still haven't settled on colors for freelance, but they are selling better with those names than "wookiee traveler helm". I may not be able to get the rewards added in game, but a color coordinated traveler's helm is something players seem to enjoy as a sub =).
