I am curious too. I wrote an article a while ago about shop decoration, but half the links are now dead and I had to remove them.

as Mr. Imperial started a shop-thread, I would like to contribute some links of my shop on Tatooine too. As I am working on custom orders only, the vendors are just for design purposes now (back, when I tried to keep up with "c00l sh1rtz" (black) they were populated with items. Sometimes I use the ithorian guy as storage for custom orders ...

I really love this medium tatooine houses for their big "L"-shaped room on ground level. I think, it's the best house to set up a shop.

Most items have custom names, the bookshelves are named like "Advanced Tailoring Techinques by Ipita Ti'hot", the Storage# Modules are named "Display Cabinet" etc.
