Thread: Crafting station trouble

If this has already been answered in another post, just point me in that direction, please.
Okay, here's the thing. My Clothing and Armor Crafting Station does not seem to be working. I open my crafting tool in immediate proximity to the station, and the advanced schematics that require a private crafting station aren't listed. When I use my crafting droid, however, everything's there.
I've tried moving the station to other parts of the house. I've tried removing all the other crafting stations from the house and using only the clothing station. The other stations in my house work fine. I used this crafting stationmonths agowith another character and it worked fine then.
I'm perplexed. Has anyone else seen this? Solved this? Am I just being dense and missing some obvious thing?

Think I've heard of this as a bug before, pretty rare tho.
But just do 2 things.. make sure the station doesn't hit any walls, then stand inside it. If it still doesn't work, either just get a new one, or put in a ticket and hope you get the rare competent CSR.

Well, I've had every other freaky bug, so why not another?
I dropped it in the middle of my living room and stood inside it...still nothing. It wasa good idea anyway. Must be the unit, although I can't imagine why. I'll just buy a new one.

There might be one more thing affecting it that I have seen with other items. If you are not the owner of the house, but admin sometimes things won't work right. I noticed this with vendors. If I am not owner of the building, I can't move, pickup, etc. a vendor when I am setting one up. The bug with the station may be same related bug.

Yeah it might have something to do with your house. One time I got stuck unclad in my basement on TC, because I got the "you can't see this container" bug and couldn't pick up my clothes (I was doing a backpack unload so I ended up dropping my clothes in my house for inventory space temporarily). However, a friend of mine with admin could pick em up just fine, and he handed them over (giggling). Then the same thing happened a few weeks later. We moved everything out of the basement and pronounced it contaminated. The rest of the house worked fine.
I actually have too many stories regarding TC that end with "and because of x bug, I ended up in my underpants." In one case I ended up in my underpants in the Theed Cloner and had to ride back to my house, making me feel much like Lady Godiva.

That could be it. My friend placed the building so I'd have more room for harvesters. Odd, though, that my other stations still work normally.

Could it possibly be a really old crafting station? Some of the ones that were made back in the beginning of the game seem to have this problem >.>
