I have been working and working with my tailor to come up with an original outfit idea for my jedi. I have crafted so many outfits and then discarded them that I think I'm going to go insane.
I'm trying to go for sexy and mysterious with just a hint of evil (yeah, maybe I've over-thought this too much), and omg can I please get rid of the all-black!
Anyway, I would love to hear some ideas from other tailors as far as outfits and color combinations, because I'm not getting anywhere. Thanks.

My original thought is that by wanting to show off your evilness (even slightly), you're basically limited to darker colours - Lighter ones will be more for the light jedi, unless you want to mock them of course
However, an alternative to the all-black is a deep red - It can signify fury and passion, both attributes of the dark side
It also allows the black to be limited to the trim, which shows up little to the main colour
The main problem with Tailoring to fit is that everyone has their own unique personality which they want to show in their clothes - So instead of telling you what should be worn, I'm gonna say what could be an idea to wear
For the torso, I would personally go for a number of items. The Dress Blouse shows off the cleavage without much else being shown, the Sports Wrap or Pullover doesn't cover the arms and can give off an "independant girl" look, and any of the Bustiers could be a good choice if you want to show a lot of (though I'd recommend the Low-Cut Top - Compared to the others, it shows a lot but doesn't look as much like you're trying to
)
For the lower body, it depends on your preference. For pants, I'd go for either of the Camo pants, Infiltrator Leggings or Pocketed Shorts. For skirts, the Decorative Skirt goes well with the Dress Blouse, or for a little more flesh maybe the Extremely Revealing Skirt or the infamouse Hawwwwwwwwwwwwtpants
If they don't work, there's always the full bodied items - I wouldn't recommend any of the dresses for kick-arse Jedi but I would say the Infiltration Suit, Tactical Bodysuit or even the Reinforced Jumpsuit could look good as catsuits. Alternatively, a cloak can be worn over most of the pieces above so you can look sexy and still use the stereotypical Jedi cloak
Anyway, that's what I thought of in a few minutes. Although a little more information could have helped - The above is assuming that you're a female Dark Jedi. I'd have a look at the Tailor's best tool - SWG-Tailoring - for some more help (although some items like the ER skirt aren't shown).
These are basically a starting point to get the imagination going, it's up to you and your Tailor to build on them - Hope they help

hmm do you want items that will take the bio tissues?? cuz if you do you know this limits you
if not....i have a few idears
and even if you do...what about something in black with like gold accents....yay for gold
gives you that dark evilness but the lightness of the gold will give ya a hint of girly classyness

Thanks for the ideas so far. I'm sorry about being so vague. Yes, I am a human female dark jedi, and currently my outfit is the light bustier in black, black comfortable slacks, black hooded cloak and black shoes. I will have to try out some of the suggestions, I especially like the idea of adding gold in somehow. I'm still a baby jedi, so I need my robe while fighting, so I'm just looking for fashion rather than function (i.e., don't need the be clothes). I have a feeling my tailor is going to be working her poor little lekku off this weekend, but I have to say that this is the fun part.
Thanks again.

If it is decor, and you wont be fighting in it ,don't forget armor
Chitin biceps go extremly menacing with a cloaked dress
Tantel chest goes very nice over fleshwrap
Or just a simple bone chest for the rough style.
ubese pants for the lean look and
ubese shirts for the tough chick look
The legs of most all armor can change a look from harmless to dare ya to touch.

Ya know... try mixing some armor in with your clothes.
Ubese armor shirt with infiltrator leggings, armor boots and arm thingies and bandolier looks tough and sexy.
How about some camos in all one color with a low cut top, armor boots and thick armor gloves
You can also make some neon colored camos with some neo low cut tops and paired with the womens shoes (makes it look like boots under the camos)
I like shorts with a flex form shirt and armor boots and gloves myself.
Infiltrator leggings with a muscle shirt (all black) with thick boots, bracelets on both wrists, and a small necklace (looks like lara from tomb raider)
Don't overlook the wrinkled pants, I happen to like the wrinkled pants with a small bustier or ubese armor shirt.
Ubese armor pants with a low-cut top, casual shoes and gloves
Mabari leggings with a low cut top, boots and gloves

If you want a nice jacket, theres the Dress Robe. Its more of a dress but for some reason it classed as a jacket so you can were it over shirts and pants and can be done in alot of colours

i kind of like the look of a burgundy revealing fleshwrap with a long vest or pullover on top of it..then a pair of boots and matching gloves. sort of a different style that you don't see very often but i think it adds a bit of mysterious quality and covers up just enough.

Thank you for your suggestions, especially the "Laura Croft" one. Once I could get an idea for a model, it went easier from there. I went with the low-cut top in dark purple/black, the (I believe it was) ruggedjacket in black with dark purpletrim, and black stripedpants andcasual shoes. Ishowed my hubby andhe said, "very tomb raider-ish." so I'm thinking I hit the nail on the head. Thank you again for your help with this.
I posted my pics on the jedi forum here if anyone wants to see.
