Thread: Clothing Attachment Accident :p

I have a question which i didn't want to post on the main galaxy forum as i feel stupid enough already for doing this.
Ok i'm re arranging my inventory and dropping things in my backpack and i pick up this Poison Resist +8 CA i looted but instead of it going in the backpack i go and drop it in my special ops duster ARGHHHHHHH.
Sent a ticket to see if i could get any joy but as usual when i have an ingame problem they seem to cut and paste the standard message of not being able to help back to me and close the ticket.
So my question is has this happened to anyone else and if so did a csr help you?

*warning* this post is WAAAY off topic and does not make me look like a smart man..
Well, this is totally out of the realm of tailoring, so I'll apologize for being so off topic. But, I have a very similar experience and since you are a swordsman I'd like to share it with you... And let me say it was painful!
My first Scythe I ever had... It was a good scythe, it was my friend and we had many adventures together. I took great care of this weapon, it was a very early scythe when that blade was new and rare. I reapired this blade many times, almost always with favorable results. Until....
One evening, a week or so after finishing the melee speed quest at the village, I had just finished playing with some stormtroopers and I noticed that I my armor chest peice, helmetand that trusty blade were were in a very sad state. I repaired the helmet... FAILURE. I repaired the chest... FAILURE. There I sat, bare chested and the sun beating down on the top of my head thinking "I can't possibly fail on three items in a row."
Boy was I wrong! Scythe blade was turned to scrap metal! I just about cried.. There I was with a 0/0 damage but decent speed scythe blade.
(Here is where I sympathize with you) So in my 'It can't get worse' mood I decided to see what would happen if I added a damage powerup to my dear friend the scythe. I located a nice damage powerup and gently slid it over to that blade. I then examined the blade to see what the results of my experiment were. I saw that the damage was still 0/0 which I half expected... I looked further down at the powerup stats and noticed that oddly enough there was no damage modifier represented. Then I saw that that powerup had 500 uses... On no! I had somehow dropped the druable lathe reward onto the broken weapon. There I was stuck with one of the fastest ever 0 damage scythes!I hung it on my wall... and logged off quietly.
Sorry for the long OT post... but I am bored at work and would rather be home playing!

We looted a +14 Food Exp off of Nyax about 12 months ago. We of course were going to give it to the guild Chef, and the guy that looted it (not me) thought he would help the Chef out even further and drop it onto a Food Crafting Apron.....thinking it would stack with the +5 already on those.
As well all know now.....it doesnt. LOL. Luckily the Chef was just happy to get the +14 and gladly overlooked the fact that we essentially screwed him out of +5. Heh. He is, as far as I know, the owner of the most power food crafting apron in all of Starsider because of this. ROFL
We DID submit a ticket, and were told that there was nothing that could be done. Keep in mind however that this was some time ago (more than a year) and that policies may have changed, or you might get a more compassionate CSR than we did.

Well you will not be suprised to know i got the text book reply from the csr's, i wonder why some people get so much help and sing praise when i usually just get a poke in the eye with a sharp stick 
Anyway i console myself in the fact it's only a game and carry on looting
