Thread: Any demand for Ithorian garb?

I run a small vendor on Gorath, and was wondering if any other fellow tailors are seeing an incresed demand for Ithorian clothing; and if so what style?

I keep a vendor fully stocked withtwo of everyWookiee and Ithorian clothing item. I've sold maybe 15 Ithorian items (if I'm lucky) since I started stocking about a week after JTL came out, and I think most of those were to the same person rofl. So, no, I see absolutey no demand for Ithorian clothing. (Makes me wonder why I still have that vendor up rofl.)

Not really - I started tracking my sales on Jan 6 and have sold 218 items, of which 7 are Ithorian, which is about 3.2% of the total. So, I don't know if it's worth it.
About 11% is Wookiee garb and the rest 'normal' garb.

Ive got one regular ithorian customer who is as much a clothing addict as any other entertainer, which is nice, but ive only had a few other customers, its worth stocking to me simply because i wouldnt feel complete if i didnt stock everything

It's a shame really, as a large chunk of the clothing (40%?) seems to be ithorian specific and their stuff is really quite cool! I guess there just aren't enough ithorians. I hope the devs are developing some equally good normal clothes.

I really want to make Ithorian wear, but so far I have only seen 3 Ithorians on my server! For the time being Ithorian clothing will have to be special order only for me.

I never ended up stocking many Ithorian pieces, however, I did sell quite a few. There may not be many Ithorians, but people still make Ithorian vendors that need to be dressed up. Once the word gets out among the Ithorian population, they'd probably be thrilled to find a stocked vendor and flock to your store. If you have the vendor item space carry the clothesand makespecialized Ithorian vendor, it wouldn't be a big deal to relist the items every monthonce you have a nice stock, and you will have created a niche for yourself.

Well, being that I am now playing the ithorian dancer I always wanted to be, I need clothing. And being that finding enough matching clothing has been very difficult there was only one thing to do! .... I became the tailor I tried to make Tekoa and failed at so long ago.
Personally, I would like to see a lot of the options available for Ithorian items to be available for other items (Like the way 2 colors blend on the priest's robe) ... I do wonder why the Ithorian dress like their in a Disco and where the Go Go boots are
And I think that some of those images would work very nicely for humanoid species as well.
... and darn it, I don't see why my ithorian shouldn't be able to wear sexy clothing if a Trandoshan female can. ::sage nod:: Neither has anything to put in those bikini tops, but the skirts are nice hehe.
So, to fule my unending desire for clothing, and to keep from harassing Tailors (I don't know why I always feel like I am imposing on a crafter when I ask for something o.o ) I just did what I had originally set out to do long ago! Ta da! My first non Dancer/Image design template! .... Dancer/Tailor o.o

I get serious pattern-envy when I make Ithorian clothes. I have a friend who created an Ithorian character and he got me to make almost everything.

on Tarquinas one of the 2 player cities i live in (don't ask) hosted a fashion show last weekend. Everybody LOVED the ithorian wear and armor when we showcased it. I was so glad the one Ithorian i know (when he unlocked jedi he made his alt Ithorian) agreed to model for us. Besides him, i've met 2 other Ithorians - both entertainers - and when they found out i was a tailor they bombarded me with orders. None of the handful of Ith items i put on my vendors have sold. But - when i put Ith stuff on Theed bazaar it sells.
