Hey All,

Is there a way to make items in a factory random colours??

No there is not, the color you chose when making the schem is what all the clothing will be

Well when it works, currently there is a bug which reverts several different items being made in the factory to default colors.

yeah the bug is on armour too - some parts of armour come out bright orange/pink etc - dam stupid - id rather they get tailor/armoursmith bugs done as this bug does really effect litteraly everyone.

random colors has come up before as an option, until it was pointed out that some of those random colors would look horrible (take a look at many NPC's or the outfits your vendors are wearing) - I would not trust the game engine to have any fashion sense.
