Thread: How Come Tailor Don't get Experimentation Points...
Now that we've seen the way the system works in practice, many tailors don't really want to have experimentation. Tailors who do primarily fashion work have realized that, unlike other crafters, they must necessarily hand-craft. This is very time-consuming, and adding experimentation on top of it would make it a major time-suck. On the other hand tailors who do primarily functional garments (i.e. BE clothing, socketed clothing) would like some way, any way, to control the number of sockets to avoid the time-suck of a ton of redos.
Hopefully we can find a system that is agreeable to both playstyles and isn't an unnecessary time-sink.

Ah, but we do have experimentation points. If you really wanna experiment, then make the Wookiee armor padding components. I'm sure some armorsmiths will thank you for them if you come out with some high quality ones.

Plz Help
Thanks
I deal with the socket problem with BE clothing by using my fails (ie 1, 2, and 3 socket) attempts to make colored pieces. Once I get a 4 socket I make the factory schematic with the black that everyone (and their clone) wants.

Thanks, this is what I have been doing as well, but it kinda sucks when ya go thru a crate of BE Cloth (wasmakingInjury/Wound Trader'sFlightsuits, which takes 6 Per schemtic *cries*)to get one socket 4 out of it ![]()

I hope you are charging a ton for those Flightsuits cause that is a huge waste of BE tissues only to get a maximum +13 to Injury/Wound Treatment.
If you're going to do that, the better idea would be to make some shirts so that ppl could at least wear them under their armor and get the treatment bonus during combat.

I agree... I would steel clear of the flightsuits unless someone requested it specifically. I try to keep the most functional, cost effective items stocked on my vendor, and I make customer orders for those with a little style

While it is true that Tailors have experimentation points, they've never gottencomponent qualities to work for ASing. So, it's still pointless (if you'll pardon the pun).
