Hello Everyone,
I bought clothes for 43.000 credits recently, but it seems that i'm unable to equip half of the items. Since im a male Twi'lek i watched out for normal hats 'cause i read when i started the game, that i wouldn't be able to wear them.
So i took a Twi'lek Bone Crest, but when i try to put it on i only receive an error message "An unknown error occured during a container transfer". Same with my fashionably pleated skirt... I saw a few male toons though, wearing skirts. Even a shirt (sports wrap) can't be equipped properly
Today i tried to contact the customer service, but they couldn't provide the answers i need..
Is this a bug, or did i miss any other restrictions concerning race/gender?

Yes, unfortunately it can be a bit confusing for male toons...some skirts are equippable, and others are not. The refined skirts, noble skirts, wrapped skirts, modest skirts, two toned formal skirts, and thin pleated skirts can be equipped by males, as well as the short wrap (altough classified as pants). The only headwear a male twi'lek can equip is the lekku ys'rak, the grand twi'lek headpiece and the nobles crest.

oh, i almost forgot, yes the sports wrap is a female only shirt, as well as the dress blouse, flared cuff shirt, and all bustiers and bikini tops.

Unfortunately the clothing is not properly labeled. If you contact the person whom you bought the clothing from and explain, he or she will probably refund your money. Gender restrictions are NOT listed on clothing.
In the meantime, males can wear all skirts except the fashionably pleated skirt, the pleated skirt, the short skirt, the belted skirt, and possibly the decorative skirt. I would recommend that you buy either the modest skirt (if you want floor-length) or the thin pleated skirt (mid-calf)
Males can wear all the shirts except: sports wrap, all bustiers, flared cuff shirt, and dress blouse.
Male twi'leks can wear the lekku ys'rak, the twi'lek noble's crest, and the grand twi'lek headpiece.
The flared jacket is a female-only item. I think the rest of the jackets are male-wearable.
There are only a few male dresses. The smock is male-only, and males can also wear the robe, the administrator's robe, and the councilman's robe.
Please feel free to post here if you're not sure of whether an item is male or female.

You got everything except the chef hat. Any race/sex can wear chef hats.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for the quick answer, it was really very helpful. I already thought i was subject to a bug :-)
I will surelyget back to our offer and try to get different stuff. I had a decent tailor, i'm sure we can talk about changing the stuff.
