Thread: Unarmed Damage/Terrain Negotiation Experiments

suit: +48 (+16 shirt, +16 jacket, +16 pants)

Unarmed Damage:


level 76 TKM Pike 4444 versus level 80 Master Doctor Master Rifles (122 Melee Def)


suited and unarmed = 406 (critical hit), 268, 255

Naked and unarmed = 270, 268, 270

suited with VK = 217, 217, 116, 217

Naked with VK = 115, 115, 115, 115


Vibroknucklers do less damage but increase speed... as you can see by my limited testing UAD does not seem to improve (much) with bare hands, but does improve VK damage a good deal. he's going to try his suit out on some critters and let me know the results, will edit whenI know for certain.



Terrain Negotiation: same TKM (no Scout at all) same suit versusMe scout 4000

he stayed right with me up a steep hill. TN does work if you have no Scout, I also noticed a significant increse in my crawl speed whenI tried on the suit.

Those are nice results. I'm wondering if it would be possible for you to test with a partial suit, to see if the +25 cap is still operational.

you mean the +25 to a single piece? As all thenew mods areRFP I don't see it as a problem... Docs clothes converted and the ATK Entertainers I've talked to ( all 3 of them ) don't care.

I verified this as well. Gavesomeone with no scouting a +16 shirt and +16 pants in terrain negotiation, then watched as she scaled up a huge mountain very nimbly. It appears that this tissue actually grants that ability. Impressive...

Try doing the experiment with two articals of +13. Run the tests, then add an additional +13 artical, run tests again, and add another and run tests again.

thats the only way to see if the hard cap is still there or not.

I made myself a +16 * 4 suit and tried it briefly last night on my TKM/BH when I was completely unarmed and didn't notice any significant increase in damage ... so that would seem to agree with your findings. I never tried with VK ... might have to try that later today.

Terrain Negotiation always worked without scout, My jedi has a +23 TN Sun Hat (CA'd) at it works fine with no scout


so can we get an update on what stacks now on things like Parl Camos and the Dusters that I always see with 4 stats on them. Also. What stats can be brought up to +25 on a piece, Like sun hat, parl camos, duster, jacket, etc.


I'd be interested to see if +25 is the cap or not no, You can easily tell this if you have Melee/Ranged Def clothes and you go into combat, 1 on 1 with a creature, they will hit you for the same damage each time. Put on 1 piece, then 2, then 3 and see if the damage you take keeps going down, 2 pieces of clothing should get you over +25, Like 2 +14/+14 pieces of clothing. Then if the 3rd one makes damage go down even more, then you will know.

On the Unarmed Damage mod, I've tested it as well & see they do not work. However the food (Rakririan Burnout Sauce) for the bonus does still work so it looks like these are turned off like the SEAs were before the CU.

I've mentioned it over in the Corre forums so I hope it's fixed soon as it's killing us TKAs, seeing that lovly clothing we can get now.. but knowing it's not working properly yet.

Just to add, it won't improve the damage while using an Unarmed weapon. TKA no longer stacks Unarmed Damage on to the VK (or Blasterfist, or RK, or any other weapon). Why your results seem to show it does I don't know, however it shouldn't just due to how the mod now works.
