My backpack has 3 sockets, but I can't figure out how to put attachments in it... if I drag and drop the attachment goes into the backpack's inventory.

it never worked in beta. use other items instead. if you wear armor, you can still wear a shirt underneath that can have sockets

I'm guessing here as I haven't even seen something to put in a socket let alone have any hehe, but have you tried it on a full backpack, so there is no room in the inventory for it to go?

No, I haven't tried it yet... I don't have room in my inv to carry around a full backpack; I'd be overloaded.

Unfortunately the type of shirt I like to wear isn't craftable, so it has no sockets.

Crafted Belts have sockets as well.

Which type of shirt is there that isn't craftable? I was under the impression that every piece of clothing in the game was craftable sooner or later.

As to filling a backpack... an easy way would be to take a stack of at least 50 units or a certain resource and then just split the stack into 50 different piles. Should fill you up soon enough.

Well I was under the impression that Heavy Reinforced Jackets were not craftable, since they aren't listed in any of the skill boxes. But, I finally saw a crafted one, so I guess they are craftable at higher levels. No sockets, though.

Hmm, maybe you just missed it, because reinforced jackets are supposed to be a Field Wear 1 item.

AndI think sockets are just a matter of finding a tailor with high enough skill in the Tailoring branch.

Heavy reinforced are different, they're a field wear 3/4 item.. and they can have sockets.

Oh right, didn't see the "Heavy" there... my apologies.

In general though, I think every clothing item can have sockets.

Yeah, I think so too, even if they are unusable stupid backpacks.

I've seen sockets in everything though, bandoliers, belts etc too. Actually I don't think jewelry can have sockets.
