Im an Armorsmith, and having read enough threads I know that means that I must also be a Tailor. I have a few questions regarding synthetic cloth.

1) Ive looked around, Bazaar and elsewhere, and cant find people selling synthetic cloth. Id think that there would be people selling it, since there are plenty of armorsmiths like myself who would like to purchase it at reasonable rates to avoid grinding up to Tailor. So do people sell synthetic cloth, and if so why isnt it easier to find?

2) Looking ahead for myself, do you need a factory of some sort to craft synthetic cloth? And if so what kind of factory exactly do you need. A wearables factory, and if so is that different from an equipment factory?

It's not worth wasting a bazaar slot on a piece of synthetic cloth at a "reasonable rate" when you've only got 25 slots to work with. It makes much more sense to incorporate it into a piece of clothing that we can get a reasonable profit and more experience from. A factory crate full of synthetic cloth might be a different matter, but for that I would definitely charge more than the bazaar limit.

You don't need a factory to make sythetic cloth, unless the schematic calls for identical components from a factory crate.

Actually that's not what it means. It means you need to obtain items from the tailoring line. Some of us would LOVE to set up a long term supply relationship with an armorer.

Generally cloth and panels don't end up on the bazaar because we sell it directly. Also for panels, the going rate, particularly for retail, is above the 3k limit on the bazaar.

Also since most armorers decide to open a wearables factory, I tend to charge on the high side for panels and cloth because I figure after an order for 10 or so, they use the profits from that armor to buy a wearables factory and a schematic and set themselves up as a competitor.
