How do I find people to sell my Synthetic Cloth to?

Other than the initial orders, how are you guys drumming up business?

I do a character search for Armorsmiths in the area, find a dozen or so, e-mail them all, then get told that none of them need any synthetic cloth at any price....

OH great, that's encouraging.

Well, you may be luckier than I was, but the core problem seems to be that achieving Novice Tailor is pretty easy for an Armorsmith to do (for that matter, it seems pretty easy to pick up the GCXP needed for *any* Novice-level secondary crafting profession once you've got one. After I made Novice Tailor, I found myself zooming up Engineering, Business, and Novice Merchant in very little time, with little conscious effort on my part. I think a lot of it is UXP coming home to roost....)

And when an Armorsmith has Novice Tailor, he can, of course, make his own Synthetic Cloth.

I'm told that it's extremely rare for Armorsmiths to advance much in tailor beyond that to Field Wear II, thus making Reinforced Fiber Panels marketable. I just got that the other night, and have received mostly silence in response to my initial offering of RFP crates, but I haven't completely abandoned hope yet....

Oh, forgot another piece of the "no demand for Synthetic Cloth" equation:

Apparently, the mid-level armors stop using Synthetic Cloth and use RFP instead. Thus, armorsmiths making their most saleable stuff won't need it.

(One confounding factor that might be at work, and might not apply to you: Lowca has had *no* turnover of resources since Day One, and a bunch of materials simply don't exist anywhere in the galaxy. I think some good armor stuff that *does* use Synthetic Cloth might be uncraftable on Lowca since the resources don't exist.)

To play devil's advocate here, Im a casual gamer who just made armorsmith. I play on Corbantis, Corellia, Coronet and would love to find a supply of synthetic cloth to avoid becoming a Tailor just to support my armorsmith habit. But I know thats not how it works. Point is, I cant find anyone on Corellia, on my server, who is selling synthetic cloth. If they were, Id become they're new favorite customer. There is a market for it out there, to what extent though I do not know.

All you have to do is look on the bazaar under misc/ factory crate. I know that at this moment in your town on your server there are at least 8 crates for sale. They aren't hard to find if you know where to look.

Don't forget you can name your factory. Karai's Industrial Fibers is nice, but if I'm desperate I can always rename it to "Synthcloth & Panels For Sale!"

Honestly once I had a factory, people found me.
