The fashion show I had last night went very well. Everyone said it was awesome! I was so busy I didn't have time to SEE the show... ya know? But I didn't get one negative comment only positive feedback... awesome, cool, wonderful, can I get that outfit? LOL

The models were just outstanding, a show is nothing without them. My musicians also helped set the mood.

It was a tremendous amount of work and if I ever do it again, I'd need the help of another Master Tailor.

But it was fun just the same and alot of people turned out to watch.

OHHH!!! Not to be a copycat, but the simple fact is the best ideas are reproduced over and over, and instead of feeling offended, one should feel flattered when someone replicates their choices. So....I wanna have one too!!!! How did you do it? What were the specifics, how did you coordinate. All the little nitty gritty. What would you have done differently, and what did you do that went right on the mark.

LOL and oh yeah congrats on a successful show!!! *blush*

I don't mind at all. It is alot of work though, just to warn you.

The most difficult part was finding models believe it or not! I had more male models than females. One my male models had to actually help me find some female dancers/friends to help out. I only had 6 models, 3 women: 1 Zebrek, 2 twi'leks... 3 men: 2 human and 1 zebrek.I really had wanted a human female for the princess leai costume and the Lara croft outfit, but alas it didn't work out. It could be because it was on a week night. My weekends are difficult so had to have it during the week. I even let all the models keep all the outfits as payment for doing the show. They did an outstanding job.

First we showed dance wear... all 6 came out dancing in the various outfits which looked really nice!

The females went back stage and changed into their 'fun' outfits, when they came out the males went backstage to change into their fun outfits while the ladies modeled.

Then the girls went and changed into formal attire.. when they came out the guys went and put on their formal attire.

then they went back and changed into their field gear/ hunting outfits and came out doing their special combat moves and so forth.

So it was more of a production as they did unique dance/combat moves... with the change of clothing.

The band also played music to help set the tone, and we had fireworks.

I'm not joking when I say it was alot of work.. lol

However, it turned out fantastic and not one person said anything negative, it was all very positive feedback. I would highly suggest having another tailor help you out, as making all those outfits takes alot of time and also fills your inventory quickly. Or even just have a helper like I had Laucian helping me carrying items.

The only thing is, I didn't see much of the whole thing because I was trying to run it and announce the outfits.. so was typing instead of watching. LOL but the response was overwhelming. Its on the chilastra boards if you wanna check it out

That is great news that it went so well. I have been thinking about doing this for awhile but knowing it was a lot of work have put it on hold. Kudos for doing it!
