Fantastic. The way this tailor treated you, is the way I try to treat all of my customers. Many of us do. It would be fantastic if you could name this tailor and post this same experience in your server forum. That way, she could really benefit.

By the way, I'm 90% positive that women can not wear smocks.

Yeah Smocks are just men only

I do try to treat all my customers like you were treated, and I generally do unless it's a "make me kool lik darth maul, but not ghay" customer.

Customers like the darth maul type get my super duper price, I tack on at least 500 cr to everything I make them if not more

I have yet to /ban or /ignore anyone, I have my afk up with my shop locations in it 24/7 so that takes care of it usually if I dont want to deal with someone.

What I HATE is that my afk goes off when i travel and they always /t then, do they get a cherish is online thing when i travel? it seems too coincidintal. And I wish we could be anon from our friends list or even certian people, i get flooded with irate /t's even before i'm fully connected every time I log on

hehe well thats my little rant for the day

Cherish~ Master Tailor, Eclipse

So I run a rather successful pharmaceutical company, but you'd probably never know it from the looks of me as I walk around in the same singed Tusken Raider Robe I've been wearing since the first week I started playing the game. I decided it was finally time to get some more duds.

I didn't know any tailors personally, so I just did a search. I came up with 1 tailor in the area, asked her for the waypoint to her shop, and headed over.

First of all, I have to say that her shop was great. Full showrooms (she is a master tailor, after all) and everything organized very well - even little droids floating around pointing you to the showrooms.

As I've been so busy running my business, I've had little time to check out clothing and see what I like/dislike, not to mention the fact that there aren't many Mon Cals running around to compare with. (I mean, what colors go with blue skin?) So I spent quite a while going through teh showrooms looking at what was there.

I finally settled on a formal jacket and some dress slacks (along with some boots and gloves). The tailor didn't have any wooly hides, so she ran to town and bought some. (She certainly didn't have to - my life was not about to end if I didn't get that jacket.)

Regardless, she came back, made the jacket (in bold red - matches the markings on my head ) and I loved it. The pants, however, were another story. Black isn't as black as it should be in this game. We tried 3 different styles of pants before we found what we were looking for. But, the best part about it was that I wasn't the one telling her that it didn't look good. She'd hand me the pants, I'd try them on, and she'd say something like, "Nope. Not quite right. Trade those back and I'll make some new ones." It was great having someone that really cared that you were happy with what you got - I don't even know the name of the guy that made my gun.

In the end, I had spent quite a bit of time in her shop, bought 10K credits worth of clothes, and tipped her a couple thousand more for her trouble. All in all, it was a great experience. I was thinking of going back in a day or two - you think a white smock would look good on a blue Mon Cal (I'm a doctor, after all)?

I just wanted to say that, from what limited access I've had to tailors (this story being about it), you folks are top notch.

Thanks.

Ummm... Did I give some indication that I, or my character, are female? I, as well as my character, are male and, in fact, I went back to this tailor (Aenea on Flurry - based outside of Mos Espa, Tatooine) and bought a smock the very next night. It looks great. We added a pack to the back and I love it. She even made an extra bounty hunter pack for me to try on (didn't like that one as much as the first one) so I stuck with the first pack she made me.

I've even added my clothes to one of my hotkey bars so that I can change clothes whenever the need suits me. Now, I've got a bright red jacket with pants when I want to be a businessman and a nice white smock for when I want to be a doctor. I guess now I just need some fieldwear for when I go adventuring off to my harvesters...

Thanks, Aenea. I guess I might see you again very soon... Oh, my poor business....it's being so neglected...

Sorry. Just not used to seeing males on these forums able to form sentances as well as you or I

Just assumed that you were a woman.

*Note this forum is different..the guy tailors here show far more of a pentient for writing than the guys on my home server forum. This just supports my argument: Tailors > everyone else.
