Well, I'm not on Kauri or a Master Tailor (yet), but I will offer a bit of free advice - as a Tailor, I would not wear *anything* (clothing-wise)that I myself did not make. That includes color selection. If you do wear Master-level items, I would change your title to something non-Tailor. The reason for this is: if you wear it and you're a Tailor, people will expect that you can make it and will probablywant to buy one from you. Personally, I get enough requests for things I can't make yet without that. Your Milage May Vary...

Thank you, I will keep that in mind. :-) I just wonder why no one has responded yet? I mean, I have enough credits to cover a fair price, and most people complain they can't find enough bussiness. I just really like those dresses :-( Normally I dont wear anything I didnt make, but I can't make those.

Hi. I'm a novice tailor, so I'm slightly embarrassed to post this, but I've tried contacting several master in-game and I never get a response. I've worked out my skill points so I know I'll never make master but I really like some of the master clothing, and am interesting in purchasing some. I basically would like three things: 2 grand ball gowns and a grand healer's robe. For the two ball gowns I'd like on that starts green at the bottom and fades to white at the top, and the other one to start red at the top, fade to orange and yellow etc. Basically like some of the npcs walking around theed. :-) For the healer's robe I would love purple with silver details. If there are any master tailors on Kauri who would like to help me out, please respond with your prices and in-game name so I can contact you. If I can help with resources at all, please let me know. Try Kurse or Kitrinan of Aeryn's Respite. They're probably busy, but they're the only Masters I know in Kuari.

I actually did try posting in the galaxy forums after not getting much of a response here, and got absolutely no response there. -_- This is kind of depressing. Dex, where are those shops you mentioned? I'd like to try them and see if they can help. Thanks

Apparently some of the master tailors on Kauri have surrendered their skills, likely since everyone but you has all the master tailor clothing they need. 8/

I gave up working on tailoring as hard as I was a couple weeks ago, I'm waiting for fixes for decay and crafting exp( exp as a function of resources used is about the dumbest formula possible ), which may well never come. Been doing other things, come combat stuff, trying to find some other profession I enjoy. As it is, making 8 billion ribbed shirts is just Not Fun, and being a non-Master is nigh pointless, in Tailor just like every other crafting profession.

Oh. Also, it may be the master tailors you contacted were all French-speakers. They may not have understood you. 8) One tailor I know is working hard, may be master in a week or so is Alicia. Might drop her a line.

Ugh, that stinks. -_- And just my luck too. Lol, actually I contacted them in both english and french, just in case that was thr problem. :-) I'm bilingual, and now actually have a use for it! Lol. I wrote her name down and I'll try dropping her a line when I get into the game. Thank you.

hehe give me a tell(Craigins) if you see me on. I am usually in the cantina in Coronet. If i'm not there you can always ask one of the dancers/musicans if they know where I am, they usually do . I hit master tailor last saturday and I still don't have a shop so I do everything by word of mouth on the street.

Hehehe yea Alicia is working very hard, we are in the same guild I train her usually when she levels.

About colors, I'm not sure that there is a viable orange color in the game yet. You can check out another master tailors site(Rika, she is around coronet as well), it is http://swg.aboutnothing.net/tailoring. It has pictures of most items(maybe all) along with the pallets of color. If i'm not on, check if she is, she may be willing to make you some clothes.

There are two super nice Master Tailors that work off Naboo on Kauri... Mirielle and Zacc.

Wow, I like that webpahe you posted Craigins, it is very useful. :-) I'm somewhat surprised there isn't an orange color, especially when a lot of npcs on Naboo wear the grand ball gown in three colors, one of which is orange. I think those ones look really great because they're like the dress from the movie, and they also look like a sunset :-) If there's just two colors that's fine, I guess I would like green on the bottom and white on the top then, should make it easier too. :-) I unfortunately can't log in for the next day or so, but when I can I'll contact you. Some of the people listed I have contacted with no response. I actually went to Mirielle's store and she had the dress, but not in a color I wanted, so I mailed her, but no response after 4 days. :-( I want to say thanks to everyone offering up their help, I really appreciate it. :-)
