So as I'm sure most of you have heard, the Ranger Revamp has been finally laid out (albeit in its early stages). The forums are buzzing in every corner, but as I'm sure you're asking yourselves (don't lie), "How does this affect us?" Opinions are many and diverse on this topic, and one patron at the office- er, cantina, said it best... Unfortunately I couldn't hear him over the loudspeakers, so permit me to paraphrase him (he won't mind).

What will this mean for us? Expect to see orders from Rangers for their favorite camo outfits take a decline after the initial flood of FOTMs subsides. Fortunately for us, their place will be taken by a previously understated minority, called Scouts. Yes folks, these little-freighters-that-could will finally step up and take what's rightfully theirs. They'll show everyone who wears the camo pants now...

But what of the Rangers you ask? Surely we won't lose them as customers? Rest assured fellow tailors, you'll be seeing quite a bit of them. However, those that once wanted tweed and canvas will now demand silk and satin. Expect quite a bit of time spent hand-tailoring dress suits, because these new dapper gentlemen have taste. Jumpsuits will also be in demand, as long as they have plenty of pockets for a multitude of gadgets and can fit nicely under a tuxedo. Of course forget those ugly green/khaki fabrics, since they'd look horrible while infiltrating grand balls and secret offices. The choices will now be between black on black (modern), black on white (classic), and black on grey (trend-setters) to better assist them in blending in with the city's socialite elite and criminal masterminds. And for those of you who run high-class ateliers for private fittings, I suggest keeping an assortment of chilled alcohol on hand for your patrons. Just make sure it's shaken, not stirred...

It will be as it always has been

Have no fear-while I'm sure there will be a number of the suave, city-style Ranger coming, rest assured there will be many of us who will continue to go with the camo! Just because we CAN drop Master Scout when the time comes doesn't mean we all will....

There may be a demand for brown leather jackets, as there is a definite resurgence of interest in the legacy of the Antarian Rangers.

And like as not, you can expect that RATGWNIWNU will probably remain just as steadfast as ever (with a couple of notable exceptions)....
