err.. yeah really... anytone lese that thinks the black cloak should be blacker.. i mean as black as a pair of black hide boots or leather gloves?

People have asked for a true black, but the devs have said that it is not possible to get everything so dark due to texturing. If everything is so dark, graphically... all we'd be seeing is a black glob, they said.

*grin* currently my texturing is bugged, most all clothes are pitch black to me atm
Sure it is annoying as I cannot see color, but sure looks neat to see such a void of color.

Usually when people want black it isn't really black they are looking for anyway. Take a look at one of those "black hole" class novatroopers. They look *really* black, but the reason for it is that the reflections that *are* coming off their armorare bright enough that it makes the armor itself look pitch black in contrast.

light turquoise with tangerine flecks is the new black tbh 
I hadnt thought about the texturing before - but it reminded me, my char on eq2 (okok i came back after a little while) has such dark black hair that it had no "depth" and she just looked like she had a silly hat on

I have a problem with the fact that the black boots imperial officers wear in game are darker than what can be crafted. Dont know if thats just a color issue with my settings or what.

I wish they had a black that matched the dark color of the Dress Robe, it reminds me of the color of my knight robe.

The dress robe is pretty unique. It has its own palette for some reason!

The doctor dress was my favorite tailor item until I found the dress robe, I just love its pallette. Now, if only other articles of clothing could match its colors.
