What's the deal with bio clothes. I just purchased a pair of pants with 2 skil mods.
Creature Taming 25
Vicious Creature Taming 25
It shows up on my skill mod list as
Taming Vicious Creatures +10 / +25
Taming Wild Creatures +30 / +55
I have a bio pet that has a diffaculty level of 25. I still cant tame them. Is there something wrong with the pants I bought or am I missing something. Any feedback is appreciated.

First things first....are you a creature handler?
If no, then the pants will be of no real use to you. Its kinda like putting a clothing attachment for +rifle speed when you are pistoleer and have no skills to use a rifle. The bonus does not make you better at using something you don't have the abilities to do.
If yes, then I would think that as you progress in the CH tree you get the skills to tame more difficult pets. I believe the bonus on the pants is only an increase in your chance at taming them on the first try, rather than multiple attempts.
And an FYI the max bonus you can have on any skill is +25. So your +55 is really capped out at +25, adding additional clothing with mods doesn't increase it, even though it says differently in your skill mod list.

Not sure what you have going on there, but be clothing gives bonuses to "Taming Wild Creatures" and "Taming Vicious Creatures", not the more generic "Creature Taming" - which is a different type of SEA.

The Taming Visious/Wild Creatures BE mod increases your chances of taming a natural creature, but you are still limited on the CL of the creature, whether it is a natural creature or a BE made pet. Look at your Max Pet level and that will show you the highest pet you can tame.

I made my husband a +25 taming/mask scent outfit when he was mastering CH and he NEVER failed to tame a pet when wearing it.

If it's a naturally agressive creature, you need to have a little more skill to be able to tame it, as they're more difficult.

Yep, Creature taming bonuses only apply to your ability to train. Your "max creature level" affects the maximum level of the creature you can tame.
Where BE clothes of + taming come in handy iswhen training vicious creatures before you actually obtain Creature Taming II. If you do not have this skill yet, BE clothes are invaluable!

taming outfits don't raise your creature level
if your creature level is, let's say 12(novice CH0000), you can't tame creatures of more than CL12.
outfit helps you to control more aggressive creatures (always within your own CL limit) like you can have a CL of 50 and not being able to control a rancor, cause it's too "wild", so those clothes help you out to control it.

I think I have the answer. You are a Wookie. You get a racial bonus of +10 to taming vicious craetures. You have no skill in Taming Vicious creatures (having noboxes in the taming line). Your skill bonuses are capped at +25. Thus your skill without the bio clothing is +10, and your skill with the bio clothing is +25
The issue of why you cant tame a cl 25 pet has already been addressed.

This mod only helps your abilitiy to train creatures out in the wild. If they creature is already in your datapad these mods have no affect, you max creature level mod or whatever tells you what the highest level creature you can pull out.
