Lots of neat costume ideas, including some jedi from the moviesI think. This is what i refer to when someone comes to me to ask me to make jedi clothing.

I make a Trim lined shirt, with crafter's pants. Shirt/apron matching vellum colour, and pants a khaki. Dark brown robes to go over it, and voila. pretty close

Does anyone out there have a listing of the clothes a tailor can make to reproduce an authentic jedi costume as worn by, say, Obi-Wan in A New Hope? I got a request from one of my customers for such a suit, but I am not sure what goes into such a thing.

Ding Ding Ding! We have a winner!
Several of my customers have asked for more of a Sith Robe instead of the jedi one...
I make this same outfit only in blacks and greys, and have not yet had I person go away unhappy.

thats a really good website, it really helped me get creative and put together my own ideas.
of course when i get the usually "make me look nice" request and they refuse to be specific, i
use alot of that sites outfit ideas, mentioning the url of course. the cantina nights for men is
one of my favorites. the rugged jacket all black looks like a leather jacket, and light blue jeans!

I have been a tailor since my first few weeks on Intrepid, which was august 2003...and I have gotten plenty of Jedi outfit requests since jedi started popping up last winter. I have always used, for females, a padded Workshirt, light brown with dark brown shoulder pads, and crafter pants, with the top part matching the light brown of the shirt, then dark brown or black high quality boots, topped off with a dark brown cloak. For guys I use the same outfit except use a trim-lined shirt. I usually add a bandolier too that has melee/stun defense.
Lately I have been making a new outfit which is somewhat similar to the one I just said, except purely for defense
It contains the following, in all black:
-Trim Lined Shirt (males), padded workshirt(females) +18 stun/+4 melee defense
-Padded Workpants +18 stun/+4 melee
-Spec Ops Duster +18 stun/+4 melee
-Any bandolier+18 stun/+4 melee
This gives you the max stun bonus clothes can give of +25, and a +16 melee defense bonus. I for one have found that most people prefer this to their Jedi Robe, I have had many requests for it from my guilds jedi, and hopefully more will ask for one too
I also add the following just to spice up the outfit
-Linksteel gloves(i think thats what they r called)
-Silver Pendant (black rope, silver medallion)
-Thermal Boots

The newb jedi do know that they need that robe so their force regenerates quicker right? The only thing Jedi's can wear is a hat, and they are stuck medical enhancements, or useless tamining bonus.
